Beasley also struggled shooting. He only shot 3’s, and went 3-11 from 3. That puts him at 14-55 in January so far. What a major slump from a key shooter.
Conley was out, NAW started and didn’t play well in his start. 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 turnovers and 4 fouls in 15 minutes.
Sexton came back from injury and played some quality minutes. He contributed 18 off the bench on 7-12 shooting, 2-3 from 3. 3 assists, 3 rebounds as well.
THT also got minutes, and has continued to look cool. Not so much out of control as earlier in the season, but still not under control and poised.
Agbaji was a team high +20, which is crazy. 3 points on 1-4 shooting, but 5 rebounds, including 2 offensive.
Our turnovers were out of control tonight. It really shows when Conley doesn’t play. 24 turnovers tonight is just unreal. Especially combined with just 15 assists.
The Magic went on a 19-10 run the last 6 minutes of the game, but we still ended up winning.
Our MVP of the game obviously goes to Walker Kessler. Dude was electric tonight defensively and on the oReb’s. Unreal.
Vando came off the bench, and actually looked really good out there. 7 points 9 rebounds, only 3 fouls too.

We almost choked that at the end, missing those free throws. Kessler clutch oreb and 2 free throws big boy.
I know it’s the magic but we should’ve won by more. Turnovers and lack of assists killed us

He’s not gonna win it unfortunately since it’s such a scoring-centric award, but Walker Kessler seriously needs to be in ROTY conversations at this point. He’s legitimately been one of our best players this season. Not to mention this kid is single-handedly holding down our defense *as a rookie*.
