I absolutely hate not using our challenge…
I need JI to come back and replace Bamba immediately.
Considering the awful coaching and play by our bench- Cole, Mo, and Bol we still would have won this game if it weren’t for the absolutely horrendous officiating all game long thanks to franz
F*ck man at this point I’d even prefer Dwight Howard over Mo Bamba
Our expectations for nba officiating was low but HOLY SHIT that was a disgrace
So many things just went wrong tonight to give us that loss. This and the OKC loss from early this season are gonna give me nightmares.

Why is it so hard for our Centers to get a rebound after the missed free throw?????
Blame the refs all you want, but we could have won the game if we got a damn rebound.

This game falls solely on coaching and refs first of all refs were atrocious markannen shot over 20 free throws by himself we didn’t get close to the free throws they did as well as more importantly coaching Mose allowing cole to play so many minutes of bad basketball is unacceptable. Guy needs to be held accountable for playing terrible. Bol on the other hand needs to not play at all or very little because whenever he’s out there he’s just playing horrendous defense and turning the ball over while having little impact on the offense. I know a lot of people will hate Mo bamba for the offensive rebound which did suck but his multiple blocks and his score put us in a position to potentially win he def deserves some minutes all of bols minutes and some of Moes.
For being one of the youngest teams in the league we seem to get out worked by damn near every other team we play against

Also, that Franz there wasn’t bad when we were down by 1. At the time he was like 5-7 from three so that shot made sense.
It’s irritating how close we are.
Not doing the simple things such as boxing out, bad turnovers, etc….

To anyone blaming the refs: we got out rebounded shamefully and missed the most obvious rebound in nba history.
Would love to complain about the refs rn (they screwed us all night), but that just confirmed why mo bamba will never be anything more than a backup center on a shitty team.
Saving your challenge for the 4th quarter is so fucking stupid. If you have an obvious goaltend, use it. I can’t believe grown adults don’t understand points are worth the same in every quarter.

Horrible, horrible game to watch. Enough has been said about the refs by everyone else.
One thing that has been a positive, although it is still very inconsistent at times, is the team defence – especially from the starters. Franz, Gary and Markelle are obviously known for their good defence, but it’s been really great to see Wendell adding blocks and steals to his game, Paolo had that great steal getting in the passing lane late in the fourth tonight. All winning teams need to build from a base of great defence and we really do have the tools to do that.
Cliff got a much less talented team to the playoffs on the back of good defence. Now we have the raw offensive talent, so it’s really good to see the starting 5 grow as a defensive unit together
Isaac better come back ready to grab some rebounds
UGGGGGHHHHHH!! Growing pains. That’s the difference between a Veteran squad and a young one. Vets pull that W out overcoming their lackluster play and poor fundamentals, youngins can’t. We’ll get there. Hopefully soon.
Well we know the bench needs a massive overhaul, way too inconsistent and just lazy. We played well in spurts again but way too many turnovers and offensive rebounds. Rotations are still bad as well. Refs like come on please someone on the team have a spine and get fined for calling them out, they where absolutely ridiculous.
That was very poorly officiated obviously. But man 60-40 rebounds? That’s gross. Don’t even know how we were still in that between that and the officiating.
My mind is still stuck on the fact that even if Utah missed that last free throw, Bamba got boxed out by Collin fucking Sexton 😒
Just insane to me how often Fultz and Franz get whacked at the rim and get zero calls
And that Kessler rebound is why Bamba belongs buried on the bench.

I know that Franz three was designed but we were down by 1. That play could have been saved for his blocked shot like a much better play could have been drawn up for the situation there.

As much shit I give Isaac about this injury this team better hope he can come back and contribute. Bol bol and Bamba aren’t doing it.

Bamba is gon and if Bol needs to be thrown in to make a trade happen I’m fine with that. Love his offense but he’s 7’ feet tall and can’t rebound.

Can we all stop ragging on Bamba, the missed rebound wasn’t a good moment but playing him and Wendell together down the stretch got us back into the game.
He defended well, hit some timely shots, was even setting good screens which is normally a massive issue of his.
We lost the game in the minutes we played Bol.
Shoutout to the refs being shit as well, I think a lot of the free throws they were shooting were our fault/bad defense, but the missed calls on our end was a massive issue.
Man -19 on Bol is such a bad look, the league knows how to play against him now and there haven’t been any adjustments made by him or coaches in order to correct that. My man NEEDS to learn how to defend in the off-season if he’s ever going to be a solid contributor for this team in the future.
Idk if this is the old fashioned’s talking, but I’m so proud of this team.
Win or lose (as long as it isn’t like the kings game) we are playing fun and entertaining basketball where it feels like we have a chance to win each game.
The winning will come with time, but let’s enjoy the time when every win feels meaningful and like an accomplishment
Cole is just gonna be one of those players you love one night and hate the next. I know bol was really fun to watch with his highlight plays but aside from that he has so many defensive lapses and never looks to make the extra pass. He’s stagnant when he doesn’t have the ball in his hands and is always caught ball watching on defense
Bamba: hits a 3 to get us back into the game as soon as he checks in, gets back to back stops in the clutch, gets the layup over Kessler to take the lead, prevents Kessler from getting an O board every possession like he did against Moe and Bol

Missed the game, but watched the highlights and checked the boxscore.. Looks like we badly need consistency at the SG position…
Otherwise, the game seemed highly competitive and we had a good chance to steal it at the end.. Proud of how far this team has come over the past couple seasons..!
