They are sitting middle of the pack and he, a fan favourite during his time here, says he thinks the team is now more talented, more experienced, and deeper, so better in every way, than the 2019 team. And now he’s backpedaling.
I don’t really care, he’s just repping his team, but let’s not pretend like what he said isn’t going to be inflammatory to any fan base anywhere, given the circumstances.

I mean, wasn’t it basically consensus that depth was the weakness of that 2019 team? We had a tight 8-man rotation in the playoffs (would have been 9 with a healthy OG, but still). We kind of got rid of the depth we had to get Gasol (Which was worth it, of course).
