It feels this way but they actually have the 2nd fewest losses against teams under .500

Funny enough, weâre actually better against teams below .500, with a 16-6 record against the bad teams vs a 15-6 record against the good teams. Still, youâd think that would be a much bigger gap

I hate to say it but this is typically a symptom of poor coaching

We like to play to our opponent’s standards

I rather this than the inverse tbh

This happened last year too

This has literally been us since the end of the Big 3 era lol

I like to lurk in other teams subs from time to time and this is a common post in all of them. Only 1 team has fewer losses to under .500 teams this season. Every team takes their foot off the gas against bad teams

That’s what great teams do in the regular season. They stomp teams they view as threats and bullshit against sucky teams cuz who cares.

I’m not sure I agree with this assessment. The Celtics have stomped on plenty of bad teams this season too, and have looked lousy against Cleveland, who is a good team. I think it is safest to say that the weak SpongeBob is lurking during any given stretch (most of the Celtics losses are in bunches), regardless of opponent, and that we’re capable of bringing him out against either the very good Nuggets or the very bad Thunder in back to back games, but we’re also capable of being the muscular SpongeBob during whatever stretches in which we’re playing well, regardless of opponent (we beat these Hornets by 35 the last time we played them).

Accurate.
Celtics vs Pistons*
So true but I’m not complaining
And this is why I became a doomer đ

Didn’t Celtics get destroyed in Denver recently? Asking for a friend.
It’s okay, stay in mommies basement. Need to rest for your kiddie show meme, haha
