  1. Dame is a great player in but he does not make his teammates better. Portland should get a player BETTER than Dame, not just to his equal or trade him.

  2. Dame to the Knicks makes sense from a asset standpoint they got the picks and players but it would be a small backcourt

  3. I was gonna say that Lillard made his bed and he needs to lay in it. However, since you suggested a 76ers trade that didn't include Tyrese Maxey, I am 100% onboard with that.

  4. Insane how people think they know what a player wants and needs to do without any credible sources to back their claims.

  5. Dame is gon stay.
    We all know he will.
Next offseason many stars will be available so lets hope they can finally choose a great star to help him

  6. I want Dame to be sent to the Raptors, Siakam is an all-nba level player that has proven to be a Championship 2nd option. The team just needs a star-level point guard and they would be at least ECF threats

  7. Keep his ass there ,everybody wanted him for the last 5 years and was gonna throw everything at Portland for him but now keep ya loyal ass there man

  8. This narrative is slung every nba season. If dame actually wanted to win he would have left by now. He’ll make bank in portland

  9. You can't look at this roster right now and say this is a bad team. There are some good players here. Dame is part of the problem, always was. There comes a time where you have to look at a player and say "he is the problem, not everybody else."

  10. Dame wanted the bag if he really wanted to win in Portland then he should’ve got a lesser deal and let them get good players but no so that’s on him great player though

  11. Dame needs to request a trade from his abdomen, knee and groin, back and wrist

  12. Portland this season had a promising start then it's slowly going downhill as the season progresses

  13. If he were to request a trade, I honestly would love to see a Luka and Dame Duo. Not sure their styles would mesh well but would absolutely be interesting

  14. ‘i don’t think it will happen, but i’m not surprised if it does’ lol pick one

  15. Lillard isn't going to leave. Unless the team starts suggesting it… He is on the decline now, he isn't going to get a big haul. Damian Lillard is a Blazer for life and there is merit in it. A lot of merit. There are only a few players in NBA history that have played only for a single team. Especially after 1990. The Blazers might be asking for a "Gobert" haul for Lillard and there aren't very many teams willing to go there especially the ones who are competing and I don't think the Blazers want to send Lillard to a tanking team.

  16. I'm sorry but that Suns trade is terrible… so the Blazers get a marginal upgrade at C, a PG who is going to retire within the next 2 seasons, and 3 firsts that will convey while Dame AND Booker are still on the Suns… why would the Blazers do that?

Looking even deeper on all those points makes the trade look even worse. Ayton is 24, on a contract the same length as Nurkic… but twice the money. He averages about 3 more points than Nurkic and isn't the playmaker Nurk is, the upgrade is marginal at best.

Then we get CP3, a player at the one position we actually have locked down going into the future since we have Anfernee Simons, so he would just come in and take minutes from guys like Sharpe and Keon Johnson while we aren't contending.

Oh and those 3 firsts, if they are any year before 2029 we can assume Booker and Dame will be on the team, so they would be in the mid 20's. In conclusion, it just isn't happening. Mostly because Dame isn't leaving, but also because that package is not enough.

  17. Uncomfortable truth coming for Blazers fans and really fans of any "small" market team. history has shown that unless you are LA, Philly, Houston, Chicago, Miami, New York, Boston or Brooklyn odds are high that you are NOT going to attract big star free agents. Hope your GM drafts well and the coaches can develop talent.

  18. Maybe the twolves can offer a few role players and about 5 first round picks for Dame.

    Oops!

  19. This is all on him some people are addicted to having people feel bad for them
