I guess that’s one way to shut up the fan base about giving him minutes. This fucking team really is something else. Akme are legit terrible.
I just want to point out that Ayo was getting minutes early last season even when we were healthy, so I wonder what’s happening in practice that they’re concerned to give Terry minutes even when we’re short handed
There is no reason why an 18th pick can’t get some minutes on a roster hampered by injures and lacking energy. Just letting players waste away instead of fixing our development.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a mutual decision to some extent. Back in November, Terry had this to say when interviewed about time in the G league…

Unless the guy is straight up trash in practice I do not understand not letting him have a chance. They gave Ayo a chance last year and he was a 2nd round pick, this is a first round pick
I was at the game yesterday, Dalen Terry was the first out of the tunnel during pre game warm ups. He proceeded to brick two threes badly then he did a little dance. I think he’s a couple years away still from contributing lol
So is he just so bad that he can’t even get minutes in garbage time? Usually these guys get playing time on lottery teams like us.
Thank God. Let him eat in the g league and let’s make some serious roster changes.
