Alperen Şengün was drafted with the 16th overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder, and then subsequently traded to the Houston Rockets. In his short time in the NBA so far, he’s shown he might be the future franchise player for the team.

  1. The future is bright for this team. Hopefully they can recover from the post-James Harden era and Sengun should definitely be a part of it moving forward. Not to mention trading away Christian Wood last offseason is something to consider too because the trade basically made Sengun the full-time starting center and thriving at his new role.

  2. Lol Andy with the performance in bed advertising products!!! Didn’t expect that in 2023!! But then again, he does talk about balling a lot so it’s not completely out of left field!!

  3. Thoughts on Sengun + the other Rockets youngsters? Also – https://ro.co/andyhoops for 20% off your first Roman order of ED medication if prescribed or Swipes which don't require a prescription! 4. The Rockets have a lot of young and raw talent. How can they turn that into success? Do they need a new coach?

  5. How tf did a basketball channel get a ED ad bruhh 😭😭😭. But hey keep producing the goods Andy 😂👌

  6. 1:07 – That was such a random thing to say lol

I think that was Andy's way of calling Alperen "sexy" but he wanted to put it in basketball terms lmao.

  7. And the Spurs took Cockua Primo instead of the Turkish Tank. I was yelling at the T.V. begging for him, and of course they go the unconventional route.

  8. I dare to disagree. Sengun is not yet ready player to lead the team. I would expect him to lead Rockets in the future but bad habits in the plays utilized by team can make him weaker player in hte future. He may not fully develop. What Rockets can offer to him apart from minutes and money? Better organization for him would be Spurs (Pop ftw!) and OKC (they have experience with young generational talents like Westbrook, Durant, Harden). I hope I am wrong, but you don't expect garbarge team to be again top seed with sophomore leading (he learns bad habits) unless organization hires great coach and Sengun is relentless in making team and organization better every day. Rockets are not that organization. At least not now.

  9. As a Rockets fan, its so hilarious to see the "hate" train building. Like everyone is like "Yall are messing up the development of your players". Im not saying you're wrong but there is just so many players on the team that need to develop, its hard to get the Vets they need without giving up on players. Jalen, Sengun, Smith, Tari, TyTy, KJ, Christopher, Garuba

  10. I've heard about this guy a really crafty lengthy forward he always pitches in on the box score

  11. Sengun is a nice building block but the disrespect to Jalen Green has gone too far. He is the franchise cornerstone.

  12. Happy to see some Sengun content. Love JG but Sengun been looking like a GREAT piece the last year and a half, the only think that sucks is the guard play is SO BAD that he barely gets touches.

  13. Just watches the Kings play the Rockets back to back, and watching Segun is like watching a less polished version of Sabonis. He's got a great skill set & huge potential.

  14. I somehow always end up with him on my teams every time I play the franchise mode in NBA 2k

  15. Sengun has shown himself to be a great young big man with loads of potential. His footwork down low, his rebounding, and his ability to score in the paint have been a bright spot for him. Hopefully for Houston he can take that next step.
