Westbrick, since Lukaās rookie year, dozens of times, has done a lot of little dirty, sneaky sh!t to Luka, over and over.
Constantly doing unnatural movements to overextend his arms and try to hit Lukaās face (did it a few times in this same game), and has put his feet under Lukaās (thankfully Luka doesnāt get very high off the ground lol), and other dirty sneaky plays, for the last few years.
Iām fairly certain Westbrick is very concerned that Doncic, given what he is doing already at 23, has a skill set which will easily, without much effort, be able to eclipse all of Westbrickās triple double records and other individual records, that Russ probably imagined would last well past his retirement.
Now that Westbrickās career is already on a massive freefall into inefficient ineffectiveness, heās bound to be insanely jealous of someone who can get all those same numbers, without the horrible inefficiency, and without much physical exertion or effort.
We genuinely have seen enough from Westbrick to assume he actively wants to injure/harm Luka, out of insecurity of his own stat-passing legacy, that Steven Adams, and other tolerant, enabling teammates have helped him amass.
Iām sure Dallas ownership, and the NBA have clearly recognized this pattern if we have, and watch these games very closely, and are probably concerned that a widely unliked, rapidly aging, jealous, insecure has-been stat-padder, may eventually injure their internationally beloved, extremely popular, generational talent, next face of the league, before he even hits his prime.
Wouldnt it be nice to see what will happen if they let go of Westbrook.
