New York Knicks Rumors: Kristaps Porzingis WANTS To Be A Knick AGAIN?



NY Knicks rumors focus on Kristaps Porzingis after KP talked to the media about his time in New York. Knicks trade rumors have heated up prior to the NBA trade deadline as the Knicks are looking for another scorer to pair with Jalen Brunson. Porzingis had a nasty exit with the Knicks before he was traded to the Mavs and has been dealing with injuries ever since. Kristaps Porzings talks about the New York Knicks:
– I can only say really good things about the organization because I enjoyed it so much playing there in New York and playing in front of those fans. It was a dream come true. In the moment, I didn’t realize it’s not like that everywhere. New York is a special place. Madison Square Garden is the most special place I had ever played in. But at that moment, I thought it was like that on every team. I had the most fun playing in The Garden.
– Could I go back and do things differently? For sure, from our side. I was hurt. If I kept playing, it would’ve been completely different. I’m young and listening to people and what they’re telling me on what I should do with my career. You don’t know any better. That’s how things went at that time.
– I don’t want to go into too much detail, but how things went with the communication wasn’t my style. My style would be different with whatever needed to be done. Maybe it was nothing. My style would’ve been different either way. But I was wrong. I was going with the flow.

    Kp, randle, barret, Robinson, and Brunson. With a bench like obi, quickley, grimes, McBride and hartenstein! It’s a championship team. Kp does have to load management on back to back games but we will finally have a complete team or kuzma if we have a chance

    TBH he was really good for us, it just didn't work out… and Phil Jackson was a turn-off for KP. We would be much better right now if he was here.

    Now Kristaps Porzingis is "Sucking Up"😞 to rejoin the NY Knicks and all the bad things he said to the Knicks.
    The Knicks would say "Hell 🔥 No"😡! Porzingis was injured all the time, not an iron man, and near the age in his 30's.
    The Knicks are sticking with the youth movement. 🍼

    Initially saw this and was “hell no”. But, for the right price he could be an interesting front court partner to Julius. He’d have to accept just basically being a stretch 5 with Julius on the floor (like a higher-end Brook Lopez)- but I wouldn’t be opposed to it…for the right price

    Fuck KP. When he left it felt like I lost a girlfriend or something. That hurt. Don’t want him back. Though, I can’t help but wonder what KP and Robison would look like on the floor together. That could be a real block party

    I'd trade for KP only under these conditions. We ship them Obi, IH, and Fournier and we get KP and they remove the protection on that draft pick they owe us. This works for us as KP could back-up Mitch at the 5 spot and he could also serve as Randle's back-up at the 4.

    I would trade for him if he comes off the bench. But I don't want to give up anyone in the starting 5 + IQ or any of our unprotected draft picks. Randle's been playing great if you look past the last 2-3 games.
