very nice
How natural he makes them look lol no he's carrying in the ball and everyone can see it lol
I look at ja morant as the new russell westbrook. As far as athleticism and explosiveness
For the Jackson Jr blocks per minute stat–rookie Walker Kessler of the Utah Jazz is actually 2nd above Bismack Biyombo. I assumed he didn't have the games to qualify, but I was wrong about that. Kessler's averaging 0.1 BPM
Memphis Grizzlies are really good. I think they reached there peak as good as they will get as a team not as individuals. The way I see it. They play 2 different brands of basketball when Ja Morant is starting and when he is out with an injury. As long as he starts, teams will make sure to give him the Kobe Bryant treatment of letting him go off for 40 points but as long as they can keep the rest of his squad in check than that's a win. When Grizzlies play without Morant it's much harder to stop at times. Less iso plays for Ja and they start passing the ball around and it creates more space to attack the rim or wide open 3's compare to having Ja attack the basket to find an open shooter or an alley oop.
This is already one of the best NBA regular seasons n recent memory
stupid video the grizzlies have never accomplished anything in the ja morant era.. stop it fake news
The pels and grizz have both grown and earned my respect, they took the place of the sun's and hawks places
What you don't get is the league's pushing of Morant to the top so they don't and or won't call traveling or carrying on him but will call it on certain players…Ja is not the only one! They are protecting…

The best part about the Grizzlies is their comradery. They have such a great vibe on the floor and their are so many different personalities which create an incredible dynamic between the group. They win together, and they lose together. Their bench goes crazy on highlight plays. They've always got each others backs. The Grizzlies are hardworking players who understand what their goal is as a franchise. But they also realize that to get there they have to back each other, play well off each other, and as a bonus, get an away teams crowd off their seats with a high-flying posterizer.
I think the grizzs best part is that they have an confident leader ( some times arrogant but still) in ja morant that can give u 25 or 30 in any given nights. But I think the worst part is that I think they need a better wing player than Dillion Brooke’s to take them to the next level. bane Jackson and adams all compliment ja really well but Brooks is so inconsistent which worries me a lot.
The best part of my Grizz is their supporting cast and just how deep they are.
We always have our defensive junk yard dog in Dillon Brooks who nobody on the opposing team wants to learn they are his defensive assignment. Even on nights when his shots may not be falling, he gonna frustrate the heck out of you, and if a night when he is firing on both cylinders guarding and shooting-wise, you done.
And as much as we hate to see any of our starters go down with injury, we don't hang our heads and just assume we are going to take the L if one, or even more than one of the starters are out. We just reload on the floor.
Tyus Jones been amazing at the point. Konchar and Roddy can both shoot the long ball. Same with Zaiire Williams. Santi Aldama can both clog up that lane and shoot and deserves props. And Xavier Tilman steps up big time when we need him like at the recent Utah game when at the last minute it was learned that both Brandon Clarke and Steven Adams were going to be out, Tillman was ready to play and was critical to getting that W.
I honestly could list every single player on the roster and have something good to say about them. Clearly says every single team member is ready to step up when called upon. Every player on the team from Ja on down has complete and total confidence in their teammates and supports them just as if they were on the floor instead of street clothes because of injury.
Our city of MEM and us Grizz fans not just love but adore our team, win or lose. We're all Memphis family.
JJJ is 6’10-6’11 he definitely isn’t 7’1
I personally love the depth of the Grizzlies. Not only is Ja a fantastic 1 who is so exciting to watch, but Desmond Bane has been a great 2 with efficient shooting. Then you have triple J and Steve the Big Bastard as very dominant presences in the front court. Dillon Brooks is also a good complimentary piece being either on the wing to knock down a 3 or to absorb contact while getting to the rim with his large frame. Not to mention we’ve seen some great offense from Tyus and Roddy coming off the bench. Having a great guard in Tyus Jones to take some burden off Ja is big for a team that is so close to being in a finals contender.
Dillion Brooks is the heart and soul of this team. Advanced metrics show that not only does he guard the top bucket getting of the opposing team 1-4 wise every night but he holds them to the lowest field goal percentage of any main perimeter defender. Par that with the fact he can give you 20 points any given night with his all be it streaky shooting, but the last part of his game is his mouth. Dude lives in people's heads, and with the except of golden state he bothers people to no end. Gotta love the villain 😎
Go Grizz!!!🐻
Steven Adams is one of the most underrated players in this Team. He his consistently hitting numbers that no centre is in the league. Yet he barely gets a mention. Would be an interesting State to know how many of his rebounds translate into points for Ja or someone else
the best part about the girzz it that they just look like a normal group of friends having fun
I'm glad JA said what he said & more specifically I'm glad he said it WHEN he said it! Those comments made any team Memphis plays out west give their best shot every night, forcing the Grizzlies to have to play every team (regardless of record) with urgency during the regular season. The difference between last year & this years team is that last year you could argue that Memphis was sneaking up on teams & that kind of showed up in that Minnesota series when they could have easily lost! Having a target on Memphis all season will ultimately benefit Memphis tremendously, because of the youth & lack of playoff experience on the roster. These hard fought reg season games will pay off for the rotation guys like Williams, Aldama, Konchar, & Roddy who need to be 100% ready when the playoffs start
Adams is such an underrated part of the grizzlies. His screens and rebounds are elite, and he is a great defender too. Even though he isn't blocking as much shots as jaren Jackson Jr, they both affect almost the same amount of shots and give up similar amounts of points at the rim. And just in the 2 spurs games alone, he had 18 screen assists, for a total of 43 points. Imagine that, 43 points because of screens. I'd recommend anyone to look up a Twitter account called steven adams stats, amazing page, has a bunch of stats about him.
Ja- the next John Wall or DRose. Will dunk his knees to dust in no time.
Its kinda crazy how young Adams is. He seems like hes been around for ever.
JJJ is 6 feet 10
Memphis have not lost more than 2 in a row(like last year), gsw have lost 3 in a row twice and 5 in a row, as well as quite a few singles.
Ja morant got more hops than prime d rose.
What Ja Morant said in that interview about Memphis was fine in the west and that they should look to play Boston in the finals is a little premature. When its all said and done, Denver might be the team to represent the west, but i hope not! GO GRIZZLIES!
I'd love to see a deep dive video about Adams. I feel like he makes the game easier for his teammates, without always stuffing the box score. Feeling is that JJJ is a better defender when Adams is around, and everyone is better on offense when he's there to roll out red carpet and bend space-time with his massive screens.
That drop off from round 1 to 2 last year for Des was b/c he was playing with a herniated disc in his back lol, still shot an insane percentage
Shit I'm a Warriors fan and even I would never describe Loon dog as "low post monster". lol The guys is amazing for our team but that is mostly because of how he competes against most of the bigger players at his position most nights.
The refs rigged the games against the Grizzlies to "humble" them during the Holiday games.
The Grizzlies organization was rightfully mad about the refs and their biased calls.
The NBA isn't a fair sports league, it's just an entertainment business.
