The Clippers are taking these precautions because Kawhi is the one driving this. If they play him too much he will leave. The Clippers aren't winning any championship with Kawhi and Paul George because they miss too many games. Commode management does not and will not work.
My opinion on the clippers is there taking a big risk with there strategies. It's frustrating as a clipper/kawaii fan they have the 7th see as I speak. They say the regular season doesn't matter but In reality it does. Because you have to win games to make the playoffs. I believe once we get to the playoffs we good don't matter what seed we have kawaii isn't going to miss not on game in the playoffs and he's going to go ham I already no that but he needs to play more games and more minutes so they can be at least a 6 or 5 seed because we don't want take the playing risk. The clippers had so many chances to be a 3 or 2 seed this year its just frustrating but I believe after allstar break every body will know that they are a threat
And i think you are spot on this team is not where we thought it would be at this point. I thought they would be a top 1-3 seed this season winning a lot of games but no they can barely hang to the playoff picture and i dont see how this suddenly gonna turn around. Clippers as we know them now isnt good enough to win they need to do something new. Sad sad situation they never could live up to expectations. Two years ago was there best shot at a title but now i dont ser them winning the West of reaching no finals. Maybe and only maybe i could see them winning one playoff series and going home in the second round
What is not working with the CLIPPERS is their defense. Morris Sr., Reggie Jackson, Robert Covington are poor defenders. Wall and Powell are too small and are taken advantage of by the opposing team by posting them. DEFENSE IS THEIR PROBLEM.

I think clippers are playing seeding for the playoffs I think they want to be in the 456 seeding in the playoffs in that way players would be healthy just in time, chemistry amongst bench & roll players would be strong. Since they played with each so often they are even resting jwall that’s my opinion

Ty won a chip with Lebron. Kawhi's load management tendencies from his days in San Antonio is the problem. Don't try to shift the blame on Ty Lou or anyone on high.

You damn well Kawhi has a history of not playing unless he is 💯 % healthy so stop making excuses for him. At no point in the last 4 yrs have the Clippers shown the continuity, chemistry and sustained health to make a championship run….they would certainly lose to Warriors or Nuggets in a playoff series…even if fully healthy
Lue is a good coach, but he won a that title running David Blatt's offensive and defensive system. Even with Love and Irving hurt in 2014, LeBron operating that in it, managed to get them 2 wins. If he had more time to adjust to the NBA, he may have been able to eke out two, even with KD in Oakland. With Lue taking full control for two seasons, the Cavs were 1-8 in back to back Finals. Probably why Cleveland opted not to re-sign Lue, because they knew that he was the product of LeBron and the talent assembled. He may not be the coach to get LAC over the hump.
