Patrick Foster, who works for SportsGrid and was doing their In Game Live telecast vehemently expressed his frustration with coaches who fail to employ this strategy. The shooter in the game even missed one of the FT. Patrick declared the debate over after that. Like he said, there are too many things that have to go right for a team to overcome a three-point deficit in the closing seconds when you foul the shooter.
