    So much panic in the Game Thread. We won that game easily from tipoff.

    – It’s the Pistons. They’re the worst team in the league. But a win’s a win.
    – Orange Julius continues his excellent form. 42-15-4 with efficient shooting. He likes playing the Pistons. Fully deserves an All-Star nod.
    – Another great game from Brunson. 27-5-4 is another night in the office. These big games are occurring more often for him.
    – Quickley’s 17 off the bench contributed well to the lead.
    – Leads tend to wither away when Hartenstein is on the court…coincidence?
    – Pistons are bad but very young and injured. They’ll get there soon.

    We won, Julius with the big game along with JB, but we need some help from our bench, outside of Quickley they aren’t playing well. It’s one of the reasons why we can’t hold on to leads, Quickly/Caruso backcourt would be dope along with hoping that Obi and Hart get their crap together

    We need to make trades for some bench players asap. Randle and Brunson should not be playing 40 minutes against the worst team in the league.

    Potential targets: Jordan Clarkson (unlikely), Terrence Ross, Jae Crowder, Thaddeus Young, Norman Powell

    Randle has been a beast lately and today. Sheesh

    Brunson with 27-5-4 and controlling the pace as always

    Rj looks off these two games? Game shape? Two weeks out so I’ll reserve judgment two weeks from now but his defense looks bad

    Grimes shot ok but his defense and playmaking has been nice today

    Mitch with the paint defense as always

    Iq has really grown up as a player. He legit is a starting level player out there off the bench

    Love hearing Randle say he focuses on rebounds to get going in games. We are a better team when he plays hard on the boards

    We are a team without a superstar. We don’t have consistent outside shooting. We sometimes iso too much. We have a knack for letting teams come back from large deficits.

    But this is my favorite Knicks team to watch in my lifetime. Even more than 2013, and more than 2020. This doesn’t feel like a flash in the pan. We actually have a core, all star talent at two positions, youth, defense, picks, a head coach that doesn’t settle for mediocrity, and guys that actually like playing with each other. These MSG tickets are finally looking like they’re worth it

    This is why I mostly ignored the trade Randle talk from last season. We know he’s a good player, having no real PG, Kemba completely flopping and Burks running the offense would drive any #1 option crazy. Randle dominates against weaker teams. No other way around it, he’s easily the best player on the floor against 10-12 NBA teams. He’s having a monster season guys putting up numbers since prime Melo

    Randle and Brunson better both be all stars. Raptors will be tough tomorrow with the starters playing a lot of minutes but man I hope we kick their ass. Let’s go Knicks!!

    We should target Oubre and PJ Washington to improve our bench.

    The Hornets are one of the few teams that are sellers.

    We have the assets to get them.
