Never forget that Alperen Sengun didn’t even see 30 minutes in the game where Daishien Nix played for 35 minutes. He went to bench with 80-80 on the scoreboard and didn’t see the floor until we’re down by 15.

  2. WetShots

Nix lead the team in minutes? Silas should be in prison

  3. LukaDoncicBigPP

As pure as Jabari’s shooting form is, he misses so many WIDEOPEN shots.

  4. Briand2714

Lakers better watch out tmmr….for the first three quarters

  5. Why not play Princeton offense when you have such a selfless center??

  6. nonetimeaccount

    *siiiiiiiiiiigh*

Didn’t expect much missing 3 high usage guys, got just about that.

I like Bari being more assertive on offense the last couple of games. Hope he keeps it up, but learns to pick his spots better.

    TARI FINISHED 3 DRIVES!

  7. aywhosyodaddy

IF YOU DONT LIKE 4TH QUARTERS, YOU DONT LIKE ROCKETS BASKETBALL

  8. OctavianAugustus21

Fire Silas that guy is by far the worst coach in the nba. His tank job starting from the end of the 3rd quarter was a masterclass on how to become the worst coach in nba history

  9. aywhosyodaddy

If Sengun gets played 1 more minute, we would have had this dub smh

  10. _s0lace_

Shoutout to Silas for sitting Jabari and Sengun for way too fucking long in the 4th (per usual) and costing the game. I guess he just needed to see some more Usi and Gary Bird 🤷‍♂️

Besides that mess this game was another fun one. Once again, team ball movement and finding the open man is what kept this game alive. As well as KJ snd EG going crazy early on. Lakers fucked tomorrow

This is not tanking anymore, another 4th quarter collapse due to stupid ass rotations of Silas, can not even give proper mins to bari and alpi when there is no tate jalen and kpj. He gave 2 min overall to sengun at the 4th, we were tied at the end of 3rd and lost by 21, enough said.

Rockets is one of the historically most succesfull franchises in the nba. If this idiocy game after game is due to silas, he gotta go, if its cuz stone says to throw the games away, then he should go today.

And if you gonna defend silas after today, sorry but gtfo too.

4th quarter with Sengun: 6 points in 4 minutes

4th quarter without Sengun: 4 points in 9 minutes

  13. RocketsBG

Wow, I didn’t expect to watch a game where Nix plays the most minutes…

  14. OctavianAugustus21

Nix played 35 minutes and Sengun didn’t play 30 minutes-> mission accomplished Silas

  15. One_Frosting_5507

Fan from Turkey here. This was the last Rockets game i watch till Silas fired. I don’t wanna waste my sleeping time for this nonsense. He literally benches Alp the moment he starts feeling and letting him freeze. He is tanking the development of young ones

  16. itserseri

Okay okay dont need to be so harsh guys, we just saw this movie before. Dont mind just go on.

  17. thisismrpay

It’s cute that Stone thinks he’s guaranteed the no. 1 pick this draft when this team has had the worst record two years in a row and still haven’t won the lottery. Maybe don’t tempt karma by purposely and blatantly putting out a shitty product on the court, whether it’s Silas’ call or not.

  18. Tales_of_Endurance

Forget about tanking, the way Silas is handling the rotations and minutes is bordering gross negligence. If a team collapses in the 4th quarter in 3 consecutive games, that is on coaching.

We have a 10 game losing streak. It is not like we are winning a bunch. So why the fuck do we have to play with the g-leauge bench for 6 mins to start the 4th?

  19. Nix seriously led the team in minutes and ended the game with 1 point, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 4 Turnovers?!?

    Bro, make it make sense!!

  20. VotePilotOfficial

Hey where’s FarWestEros with his inane defense of the worlds worst coach? I await his post saying that only enlightened gentlemen such as himself are keen to the bigger picture.

  21. LordTreat

There is no excuse for Sengun finally checking into the game when the game is out of reach.

Wtf is Silas thinking? These are valuable minutes your want for your young core, not Daishen Nix

  22. One_Frosting_5507

Can Silas be sent to the G league?

  23. Daishen Nix today:

    1 PT
    0 REB
    2 AST
    4 TO

    Ass 🔥

  24. I wonder who the worst 4th quarter team in NBA history is

    We’d have to be close

  25. ClutchRox88

Great game considering no KPJ, Green and Tate

  26. _Sparrows

I think most of my thoughts are in the game thread. I’m frustrated as a fan. I just ask for one game where we break the pattern. One game where we play well all 4 quarters.

The Silas rotation is not it.

Sengun and KJ and EG and Tari were highlights.

At what point can the org take a step back and acknowledge they are hindering all our green players from developing the way they deserve to develop?

My FIL tells me Nix has a four year contract and if true WHEW LORD. Who made that call?

Biggest irritation: when we have more than one non scoring player (bonus if they plain suck like Nix) and then the opponents KNOW they only have to cover 1-3 players versus the others for points. Because yeah Nix ain’t scoring and neither is Garuba. Who thought a rotation of shitty Nix, no scoring Garuba, and green sees no court time JC was a good match up?

JC and NIX together was such a disaster.

  27. Ya’ll do realize that the starting guards were out, right? I’m no Nix fan but uh, that’s where the extra minutes are. Tate has been playing some guard and wing. Someone has to play those minutes. The level of critical thinking amongst this fanbase is pathetically low. The weird biases are pathetic.

  28. So tired of Alpi getting benched and us tanking in the fourth quarter.

  29. Can’t believe we have Nix a fucking four year contract lmao holy shit. It doesn’t even matter what the amount is.

  30. ClutchRox88

If you are against a better team and a better coach, you can play perfect and still lose.

It’s simple, the better team with bigger bodies who are better coached and more experienced pulled away at the end. That’s just logic when you have an experience edge. It’s means you have more reps in those situations, it means those habits we are building are second nature and since they are also bigger than us, they were in a better position to run out the game from a physical standpoint.

It was literally one quarter where we lost the game.

  31. Th3_Paradox

idk yall. i hate to be negative. i love my Rockets. Been a Rockets fan since like 1992ish. Maybe I was spoiled by how fun the Harden era was, but the constant losing in winnable games is wearing on me. Messed up part is, the first half was so FUN, too. Feels bad.

  32. itserseri

This game gave me some joy. Appreciate guys. Nice team effor without selfisnes. You can never underestimate Kawhi’s team. Desent effort.

  33. unkachunka

Wait so TyTy just had a 50 point game in the G league, all of our guards are out and Daishen Nix is the one who plays 35 minutes with TyTy at 12? What did I miss? Did TyTy get injured or something?

  34. Also interesting. No toxic energy for those 6 Sengun turnovers?

  35. RandomDoctor

Alpi with more assists than the guards combined

  36. Stone needs to wake up and fire Silas now. But knowing our owner we are going to wait and save money.
