REPORT: The Raptors Have HUGE Plans For The NBA Trade Deadline

The Toronto Raptors are stuck in the middle of something this season. It is pretty evident that the team possesses enough talent to be in the mix for a solid playoff position but they sit at 18-23 on the season and are outside of the play-in tournament positions and looking in. This puts the team in a tough spot heading into the trade deadline which is just under a month away now. The team is good enough to make the playoffs if the right pieces are placed are the core, but is it really good enough to win a playoff series? Fans know that whatever the current team is, it needs a change for the better or worse and they are calling on Masai Ujiri, Bobby Webster, and the rest of the Raptors front office for action. Reports are starting to emerge about which players are available and which are not. Despite the conflicting reports there is one thing for sure about the Raptors as we get closer to the February 9th NBA trade deadline, and it is revealed in today’s video.

  1. I just trade fred and siakem and Gary. . For a bunch of young players full of potential and picks. Build around Scottie and OG

  2. Nice one Jacob, enjoy your positive and unfiltered views on things!
I sure would love to see a big push through the remainder of the season!
    Lets Go Raptors!

  3. C'mon, what's the point of getting to .500 mark? Too late into the season to "fix" something to be a contender.

I was always against tanking but this season … Let it go and embrace the tank .

  4. Trade the so called depth we have ie; Birch, Flynn, Bo Cruz, Banton, Thad, maybe some 2nd rders and get a guard who can make some plays and shoots some 3's. DiVincenzo? As well as a decent rim protector, Bamba, Drummond?

  5. In an ideal world I’d keep the younger guys like Scottie, Trent, OG and Precious and trade the older guys like FVV and Siakam for a major haul of draft picks and youngsters. Problem is who knows if Trent and OG want to stay. But my focus would be more on rebuilding than on aiming for success this year. I think it’s pretty clear that this team as constructed isn’t good enough to compete for a championship.

  6. Trade fvv and picks for just about any non injury prone starting center and move Scottie to pg

  7. why are we still keeping an old slow predictable inconsistent average player who will cost us 114 mills or more on our team.. is my question.. sigh

  8. We need an elite young point guard to pair with Scottie Barnes. A top 10 draft pick wouldn’t be the worse thing if they see a guard who can step in right away. Nurse overplaying his starters to face Boston doesn’t get me excited.

  9. It's frustrating to see the guy we thought to improve our 3pt shooting to be out for good (Otto) and we could not even trade him due to his injury, meanwhile the guy we let go and is on minimum deal became one of the best 3 shooter in the league (Yuta)

  10. If Massai likes Wemby enough.. he has enough assets to pry that 1st overall pick from ANYBODY, please know this people.

  11. We can even look at TW they having issue with towns n gobert together. We can offer young talent like achiwa or Boucher plus a draft pick they lost and bring towns to Toronto.
