Plenty of positives, Kelle great game and our whole bench played well. Especially Mo and Bol

  2. Mangos4Lyfe

Franz was +21 on the night. They basically sucked any time he was sitting

  3. clingklop

Losing by three to the #1 seed in the west with the likely three time MVP, we did our best

  4. DadaMo21

Only saw one replay and I’m likely wrong but it looked like Murray’s foot was on the line for that buzzer beater. It wouldn’t have mattered long term either way. This Team is fun man, we have some really good players and Judah on the way. Two 1st rounders coming. A lot to be excited about.

  5. Niceshotpiccolo

Franz back gonna break with how heavy this team is

  6. soxfaninfinity

Another tough close loss onto the pile. At least this road-trip from hell is over now and we can get back east fresh after our break.

  7. they_jem

1/7 but sure, let’s keep Cole on the court for the entire fourth.

  8. BancheroBot

My takeaway from the game: Them thangs were thangin during is this anything

  9. Persiankang

Fultz turnover leading to that 3 was such a killer.

  10. These will be learning moments for this young talented team

  11. they_jem

Great effort nonetheless. Denver has been piledriving teams at home

  12. lemonglazedchicken

that’s just mvp shit right there. damn, this one hurts. 😞

edit: shout out to bol bol. 17 points in 18 min. and had a dunk on jokic

  13. treadwater23

Am I the only one that thought Cole was playing well defensively and sharing the ball in the 4th? Shot was still off but I don’t think that’s what killed us.

Again, that Fultz turnover was a momentum killer. Up 5 and could be 7-8 and turns into a 2 point game. Sucks but he played really well.

  14. Independent-Impress7

First game in a long time that Anthony played within the flow of the offense. Hope he can build off of this.

  15. AaronGOATdon

Moral victory. Great effort by our guys, but Jokic is MVP

  16. magicphinfan1

Fultz playing well and In rhythm and Mosley holds him out until 3 mins left, makes sense.

  17. UninspiringErn

Why does T Ross get 20 minutes a game he needs to be on the end of the bench.

  18. Nuggets fan here to say I like what you got cooking out in Orlando

  19. rustystatic

Both here and r/nba is confusing me. How many negative dumb takes are we getting?!?!? Magic fans embarrass me sometimes.

We came out sloppy, sure. But I can’t really find any criticism of Coach. He shifted to a defensive scheme on the fly that locked up one of (if not the best) offensive teams in the league.

Y’all want Cole out even though he got us into the game?!?!?! He didn’t make a mistake at the end.

A shame we didn’t play like it all game, but we can be so good when we want to be.

We lost to some tough 3-balls.

I can’t really see any reason to be that negative, sort yourselves out… I’m convinced a bunch of you didn’t even watch the game!

  20. treadwater23

I swear some of you guys don’t watch the game “hurrr Mosely didnt bring x back”, yeah because our bench was literally bringing us back from 10+ deficit to give us the lead. It’s so easy to point fingers and say what was supposed to happen.

If starters are back earlier and they give up the lead and momentum that bench unit was building, people would be bitching too. Impossible situation.

All we had to do was not turn the ball over and we did. It sucks but it happened.

  21. UninspiringErn

Our shooting guard spot is whack we got 3 guys playing 15-20 minutes and all 3 are not producing

  22. evan466

I would have rather it was a buzzer beater than they leave us those pointless two hundreds of a second.

  23. Comfortable-Tie2673

Nuggets fan here , can anyone tell me how this team isnt top 3 seed in leastern conference

  24. Tough loss to take, but that’s just what a 2 time MVP does for you. We played with a lot of effort and last year, this would have been a 20 point loss, easily.
Cole with another typical bad shooting night for him, going 1-7 and 0-1. If his bad performances were just a little less bad I’d be fine with him, but it’s just always the same.

Positive: The Wagner Bros with a combined +34, Moe’s hustle is just amazing and Franz did well, despite shooting not as good as he does usually.

  25. Least_Inspector_450

Fultz was the best player on the floor tonight. Why did Mosley play Cole over him most of the 4th?

  26. resincak

Cheap win by the front runners. When it’s playoff time, their no-shows.

  27. OmartTheOmar

0% of me is upset about this loss. The improvement to this team from not only last year but earlier this year is insane. Can to wait until we shore up our lower roster players: ross, Cole, bamba, etc and get some more defense and buckets in the line up.

  28. RespecDev

We basically outplayed them in the 2nd half as much as they outplayed us in the 1st.

And then Jokic decided to win the game.

  29. Drewbacca_Hrrrgrgrar

Stinky loss. We needed this badly for our confidence, and Fultz kind of choked it away with that turnover. If someone scores when it was 113 to 109 and gets it to 115 to 109, I think we win that game.

  30. SpecificElevator3005

They were on a 12 game home win streak as well

  31. PreachitPerk

Really nice job battling back from down 15. Gave the Nuggets all they could handle.

  32. mightymouthcrv

The Chicago Bulls are currently in 10th place and have a winning percentage of .455, which equates to about a 37 win season. Assuming that holds, and a 38 win season gets us in the Play-in, we would need to have about a .578 winning percentage and go 22-16 in our last 38 games. Over the past 19 games we’ve gone 11–8, for about a winning percentage of .5789. So, if we win at the pace we’ve been winning over the last 19 games, we should be in position to fight for a Play-in spot. That’s a big lF. Who knows what role injuries/tanking/schedule might play.

  33. gmbaker44

Not one mention of WCJs absolutely awful defense on that last possession. Murray was in no position to score and he leaves the 2xMVP who never misses in the clutch to double Murray 5 feet behind the 3 point line.

  34. AnselLovesNuts

Fultz came in too cold, that’s on Coach.

Don’t wanna hear the bench was hot, they were facing the nuggets bench without Bones Hyland.

Also, Need PB to take more than 9 shots. That fatass Jokic isn’t defending him at the rim.

  35. Debonair311

Great game by AG. Love seeing him flourish in Denver

  36. NikThaGreat9

Same old stuff. We just need to draft shooters so bad. We got our guys. We just need to build a team around them now.

  37. raphael87

Not seeing enough love for WCJ here! Dude keeps showing he is the best at slowing down these superstar big men.

  38. GrouchyUniversityy

PB should have more than 9 shots

  39. Loose-Animal7305

Great fucking shot by Jokic, Orlando continues to stick around late and put themselves in positions to win, last year this team would’ve went 0-5 on this West Coast trip and got blown out every game, this squad is truly turning a corner
