  1. Had nothing to do with missing their starters players. When Duarte goes 2/9 and Nembhardt shoots 2/16 with mostly wide open looks your not going to beat A church league team. Buddy missed at least 3 maybe 4 wide open 3s in the 4th quarter against Atlanta and was horrible against Memphis. Didn't step up at all. Nesmith was 1/13 and 0/8 on 3s against Memphis. Neither Nembhardt or Nesmith has shot that poorly all year and they picked a great time to do it. Brisset was 0/6 against Memphis. . Dude literally never steps up when we REALLY need him to. He shrinks always. Did decent against Atlanta I guess.

Atlanta game was a momentum killing loss because that win could have given that group confidence and they definitely had that game won. You have to make open shots in this league if you want to win.

Hard to be upset at Nembhardt but he let the team down bigtime I'm sorry. He whiffed at the plate. Golden State game looking more and more like a fluke game. Him and Nesmith both have really settled into their roles so I understand this Is foreign territory and they looked like fish out of water when needed to take on a bigger role. The entire team can't play any worse offensively so we'll see what happens. That's about as poor of shooting ive seen any NBA team shoot all season and they picked a very inopportune time to do it. If fans want to Blame Turner and Haliburton out for the losses I'm sorry but your letting these guys off the hook. That Atlanta game most definitely should have been a W and just like the 2nd half of the knicks game Nembhardt and Duarte couldn't throw a ball off a boat into the middle of the ocean. I can go 0/6 and 1/13 from the field and I don't make millions of dollars. Hopefully this ate at them all weekend for letting the team down and they will come out guns a blazing. Good thing about the NBA is your only as good as your last game. A win tomorrow will make fans have short memories. You can't beat a church league team it 4 of your starters shoot 2/9, 1/13, 0/6 and 2/9. Your not beating anyone in this league shooting those percentage with mostly wide open looks. Brisset might not have started but he definitely shot 0/6 against Memphis. He can't have 2 straight good shooting games to save his life. Just like last year

  2. This should be a wonderful opportunity for development with Haliburton out, especially for Duarte (barring injury). I don't expect to win many games, but I think the tradeoff will be worth it. I also expect Nembhard to greatly benefit from the experience as well.

  3. What the Pacers can do better without their star guard out for 2 weeks is make wide open shots. It's not some huge complicated mystery. Your not beating anyone in this league shooting 2/16, 1/13, 2/9 and 2/9 and 0/6.Who are you going to beat In this league shooting like that? I think Buddy was 5/16 against Atlanta and missed wide open 3s at least 3 straight times and I do mean wide open.
