I'd rather us to lose and get top 2 picks than being 4-14 lottery pick. Surely losing is no fun, but I'd rather us be top bottom team for a year or two than mediocre team for 10 years, which was the case for Spurs for past 5 years or so.
I'm cool with either Brandon Miller or Nick Smith Jr. if we miss out on the top 2. Miller can come off the bench or start instead of Sochan, most solid player and the best guarantee pick in my opninion. And I'm pretty sure that Nick Smith Jr. will end the season strongly, might be the best 3 way scorer of this draft and even if he might not be the most natural pointguard he could start at that position for us, he's so good with the ball in his hands that he'll find guys open. Would be an upgrade over Tre Jones if his 3pt shooting translates into the nba. It's still very early, but there will be other prospects underlooked in the top 5 that we can bank in on.
Tre is the Spurs point guard. he has improved in every category with the exception of 3-point shooting. What the Spurs need is a decent backup point guard. Carlos Alocen would be a good fit. I have concerns with Victor's physique. He's very thin and his legs and ankles look smaller than Chets.
I'll take Scoot at 1… Look how Ja changed the grizzlies entire franchise at the pg position… victor is too tall, like Yao ming.. with that height he is going to be super duper injury prone..
I read a good article on the perception of super tall NBA players always being hurt. It discussed there reallyhaven't been many players over 7ft, so it's such a small sample size to begin with and when people already have that perception, one injury like Chet Holgram just reinforces their belief. Zion Williams missed an entire year at 21, when Yao Ming didn't miss a game until he was 25. Victor Wembanyama is only a couple inches taller than David Robison and 2 to 5 inches taller than Tim Duncan.
My two picks are Victor Wembayama and Brandon Miller. Brandon Miller beginning in the season was top 25 prospect but his stunning performances like yesterday have made him a top 5 projected pick he is amazing. Scoot is good but I see his ceiling as a John Wall. That's not terrible but he depends on his athleticism. If he can change his game an evolve into a De'Aaron fox than I will take him. But he just seems to not give those hints, fox in Kentucky shot more 3s while scoot tries his best to avoid long range shooting.
my first choice PG is Tre, Sochan not really need to shoot more if he needs to help Victor for the inside center job. Blake is 6th man for Devin or KJ.

The Spurs have a legit shot at a top 2 pick in this year's draft! Thanks for watching and Go Spurs Go!
Go Spurs Go
The future is bright 👀
Victor Wembanyama?🤔 I say NO!🧐 Im older than the Spurs🥸
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind Scoot !!
Trade for young players and draft picks
I think the kid from Notre Dame could be the starter fast at PG

TSR, first congrats on your GIANTS. Fyi, there has been talk here in town about Victor being at 4 and Jakob the 5 of course if we get that top pick

No matter who we get, we could be competing by 2025 the same year we have three first round picks!

If we don't get the first pick we're almost certainly picking up another guard. Only two bigs projected in top 10
Trey Jones is an ascending player and worthy of a 2nd contract.
I think Victor is the only choice.

GO SPURS GO…!!
This is like TSR having to decide between Ricky Lombardo or Ron Jambo if you had to only pick one and can’t go with both of them
