His defense so far in January is a huge drop off from both November and December. My main point in all of this(stemming from our discussion in the off-topic chat) is that De’Anthony, objectively has had a huge drop off so far.
I don’t even think it’s fair to call it a drop off. I think it’s more of a leveling off, to who the guy is. He shouldn’t be trying to finish on the breaks, he shouldn’t be trying to do more than he should. And ideally we wouldn’t have him guarding wings, but if not him who? But I feel we’re a ‘prisoner of the moment’ because of what Melton did in December.

Upgrades at the wing are needed. Too many holes on this team outside of PG & C

Dudes get cold. Melton has been unbelievably solid. At least he’s not putting up a ton of shots when his offense is cold
