Exclusive interview with Bulls VP of basketball operations Artūras Karnišovas | NBC Sports Chicago

The last time the Bulls played in Paris in 1997, the opponent’s leading scorer in the championship was none other than Artūras Karnišovas. Now he runs the Bulls’ basketball operations. Karnišovas joins the Bulls Talk Podcast to detail his compelling backstory, which included facing Michael Jordan and the 1992 Dream Team in Lithuania’s first Olympics as an independent country and receiving KGB clearance to play at Seton Hall.

  1. Everyone is waiting to hear some answers from this guy and all we talk about is his past……

  2. What’s the point of a rare interview with AK if he’s not going to discuss the current team? Instead we get a puff piece bio? Wasted opportunity.

  3. Well one thing is perfectly clear Anderson Cooper Andrew Cuomo or Don Lennon didn’t do this interview . What a puff piece. I know you cover the Bulls as your livelihood but why should that prevent you from speaking truth to power.

Example why was BD signed to an extension.

How long can Bulls fans expect to have to pay money to see this G league team.

What are you trying to do to fix these problems

  4. I bet AK said I’ll do the interview but no questions about the season…NO ONE cares about your past AK….what’s up with all this losing bruh?

  5. C'mon KC! Bulls nation doesn't want AK's resume. Save that for the history books. As a journalist, this was the perfect opportunity to clear the air on trade rumors, and AK's goals for the Bulls.

  6. “Bulls fans would like to get to know you as a person” No, I’m pretty sure that’s not what Bulls fans want to know.

  7. Let's give AK the same leash that Gar and Pax had. The Bulls are ran like a broken down circus. Terrible interview for a terrible team.

  8. Get a coach, this guy has no clue how to coach millionaires . He has no ability to motivate. Seen this many times in elite military teams with dead end politically correct leaders. Phil Jackson could have mopped up the NBA with this team
