CHARLOTTE, NC — Boston Celtics Superstar Forward Jayson Tatum was interviewed following the Celtics 130-118 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Tatum scored 18 of his 51 points in the 4th quarter.
With this 50 point game, Tatum has now passed Larry Bird for the most 50 point games in Celtics history. Boston has now won 7 straight games, and will take their win streak back home to take on the defending NBA Champion Warriors on Thursday night.
