I dunno. I was watching Bron highlights the other night and just thinking…everyone is just flat out afraid to admit the truth about this man. We get all these half, maybe statements about him it’s like christ. Go back and rewatch how many awe inspiring moments he packaged in every single game. He’s been so absurdly awesome for so long, I can’t r even keep track of all his greatness. It’s ludicrous.

I’m sorry it’s LeBron. Just look at the difference in the way they MOVE. Bron is just too athletic. Especially in his first 7-8 years. Never seen anything like that.

I used to say 1a and 1b. But other than the rings argument, Jordan has absolutely nothing on Lebron. Just compare them. Man to man. I don’t see it. Bron is superior.

Man that coffee is SMACKING this morning! 😂

There will never be enough data to tell us who a single GOAT is. We will never be able to watch guys from different eras and really truly know. And no one will ever really be able to convince anyone else because there will always be more to be said.

Jordan, LeBron, and Kareem are the T1 guys for me. They stand alone upon the mountaintop.

As for Doc’s thoughts; I think LeBron’s career has been riddled with bad luck. It wasn’t his fault DWade, Chris Bosh, KLove, and AD’s bodies all failed to hold up. It wasn’t his fault that Kyrie Irving and Carlos Boozer were selfish jerks. It wasn’t his fault that KD purchased himself a pair of championships – imagine if Reggie Miller joined the Stockton/Malone Jazz. MJ would have 2 fewer ships. It also wasnt his fault that the Cavs failed to build around him for seven years at the beginning of his career.

Imagine if Lebron had his Pippen – healthy for a decade the way Jordan did. Damn shame…

LeBron is the GOAT… It’s simple. He can literally play & defend every position on the court at a higher level than basically anyone.

Jordan was the greatest shooting guard ever.

Jordan elevated his teammates better/ better motivator…

LeBron is the worst GM ever

All said, LeBron is bigger, faster & stronger than Jordan. LeBron is a significantly better 3 point shooter. LeBron is a better passer. LeBron is a better rebounding force. LeBron also gets steals & is an amazing defensive force at every level.

Nobody’s ever replicated Jordan’s intensity, except maybe Kobe, for stretches… If LBJ went with the same intensity, there would be literal bodies & he would catch a case.

Why do we always phrase stuff like this just so we can hold onto our previously held beliefs. Like it’s okay man just say what you want to say.

hahahaha! that’s a fun new narrative for people who are afraid of the truth

I feel it’s the opposite really. Jordan is the GOAT in terms of legacy, being in the perfect team at the perfect time, with the advantage of being in an era much more susceptible to mythologizing accomplishments.

For me LeBron is the best basketball player ever, I don’t think his combination of athleticism, durability, IQ, skills, shooting… Is something we’ll see again in the near future. But the discrepancy in quality between teams is less pronounced than it was in Jordan’s era, much harder to win multiple titles in a row these days.

Peak value vs career value. MJ is arguably higher peak. LeBron is unquestionably higher career.

People say whatever they want to justify stuff end of day nobody is greater at the game than Lebron. GOAT through and through
