I have a PHD in Advanced Applied Hoopsology and I can tell you that after decades of research, we concluded that putting the ball in the basket gets points and you need points to win. So Simmons should put the ball in the basket. I know, it's a difficult concept to wrap your head around

Honestly Kobe is my fav player ever and I’m from Los Angeles but is he really more “skilled “ than kyrie ??? He solid defender but doesn’t bring enough impact on offense I feel like if your going to be a starter and your looked at as a defender you need be putting up 15 assists a night or 15 rebounds . Basically if you going to score 0 u need to have some kind of high stat on offensive end

It's not only confidence, it's absolute stubbornness. I have read where Simmons has done this since he was a kid. At LSU the coaches asked him to shoot more and he intentionally shot less!! He has always been spoiled and petulant.
Ben just won't learn how to do the most basic thing and that is shoot from over 5 feet. It's frustrating for his teammates.
