  1. The only thing that really went our way tonight was Dame. Not going to win much if that is the only positive. MPJ was just shooting over smaller dudes all night.

Some of the worst basketball I’ve seen from Ant and Nurk today. Couldn’t hold onto a basketball for their lives. After that talk about self accountability from Nurk regarding taking care of the ball this is not something you like to see

  3. Burnem34

God I hope the Nuggets draw the Warriors in the 1st round

  4. ChurroMemes

Another game, another wasted Dane performance. Good enough to beat bad teams (sorta) but bad enough to lose to top teams

  5. agentalexk

Chauncey got out coached by the bald guy from “The League”

  6. asmara1991man

We are now tied with the Thunder. Lmao I’m sorry, that is inexcusable. Dame/Ant/Grant/Nurk/Hart as a starting lineup…..tied with the super young Thunder? Unbelievable lol

  7. Damezang

Might have had a chance without those fucking refs. Dame looked great which is great

  8. Ishfluent

It feels like when the game slows down the blazers offense stops working.

  9. Was dame clapping and saying great job towards the refs at the end? Savage.

  10. BlackSocks88

    1.) Desperately need more height.

2.) Fouls were 1 sided all 4th quarter.

    3.) KCP is stupid.

  11. X_SkeletonCandy

I’m so sick of Sharpe getting benched for no reason.

  12. ColoringisFun

Dame is fun to watch. Nuggets are legit good. I am now MIB neuralizering this game from my memory.

  13. CucklesMcCucksworth

How many techs this between the two teams?

  14. cowbee97

If we could get Brook Lopez somehow, that would lowkey be a huge upgrade

  15. We are gonna be mediocre at best forever until there is a glitch in the free agent matrix. Aldridge and Olshey sabotaged the Dame era irreparably.

  16. Analyst_Simple

Don’t care, just hope no one got hurt in that boxing match.

  17. *sigh* I keep telling myself I need to reset my expectations but we’re better than this. Frustrating loss.

  18. Voidrunner503

At a minimum this roster is like 4 or 5 major moves away from contention. Gonna be honest, I’m not convinced that the front office will be able to put it all together in time as Dame is getting up there in age.

  19. rock-or-something

Mehh we’ll get them back in the WCF lol

  20. alandwarinasia_

this was never gonna go our way, now we gotta take care of business in the homestand

  21. kangasgotcurves

We lost but didn’t feel as bad as earlier losses this month.

Dame is good. Nurk didn’t foul out. Sharpe is putting it together. We had less turnovers than the other team.

Hart and Nurk are not respected from 3 and Simons was cold.

    Denver is scary on offense.

  22. 420BluntJesus

Man I really thought we turned our season around after beating that broken Dallas team

  23. masta_wayne__

Why is Josh hart still in with the starters? He’s not good anymore

  24. Just made a quick tour in the nuggets subreddit. They be talking a lot of shit for being a second round exit at best. 50 wins every year and their best result in recent years is the conference finals in the bubble lol

  25. BrklynDragon

Anfernee simons with Dame in the lineup.
20/3/4 with 2 TOV a game, 43/36 shooting splits. Ft% irrelevant considering he doesn’t get to the line whatsoever.

This is not second star production. If he was even marginally okay at defense, that might be digestible, but this level of production is a net negative when considering how bad he is at running an offense and his defense. I won’t even call it traffic cone defense, traffic cones are effective at what they do.

  26. TheRipCity

We committed 11 more fouls than them before garbage time and were somehow only down by 14.

I am not too disappointed with this result. If that differential would have been closer to 4 it’s probably a 2-3 possession game with 2 minutes to go.

Outcome might not change, but it could have been interesting.

  27. swisherhands

It’s so dumb to have Dame/Nurk/Grant but also have Simons and Sharpe. Either go all-in with Dame or trade the vets and bottom out. Being stuck in *this* middle, is a fucking nightmare.

  28. ripshippy77

I’m so done on Ant. He’s a 6th man of the year. That’s his ceiling

  29. nightchurn

We just have to treat losses like this as instructive. They show us what we lack and what we need to do better.

    Frustrating.

  30. N3110H_5555

Bet over on Dame=guaranteed money 90% of the time. Even when McCollum was on the team. Dame Dolla is just that good

  31. toadtruck

Blazers offense is so simple. I’m not sold on Billups. Are they dumbing it down for Sharpe or something ?

  32. 1850ChoochGator

Dawg Hart needs to let it go more.

Simons need to let it go a bit less.

  33. Yes we lost, but why are people acting like the Nuggets aren’t the top team in the west with the best home record in the league, 17-3 in their last 20, and that this was a blatant failure of a game

  34. Sloppy. I’ll keep bringing this up, but our only option is to start bulking out this roster and increasing its length – it was extremely evident today. MPJ was feasting, and the length really bothered us on the other end. A reminder that a lesser quality starting lineup, with 3 of 5 starters out of the league made the conference final because, in part, better rebounding, and a better bench:

    Dame-CJ-Harkless-Aminu-Kanter

    Curry-Hood-ET-Collins-Meyers

Not that Chauncy isn’t to blame, but a 9 man rotation that included Curry, Hood, ET, Collins had a big size difference to our current GP2, Sharpe, Little, Eubanks lineup. The weakest link in the starting core since the beginning of the season has been Hart. Yes he’s a good rebounder and defender, but if we can trade him for bench length and experience, then push Nas into the starting lineup, this roster would be so much more balanced

  35. ripshippy77

Sharpe’s ceiling is obviously so much higher than Ants. What do we do?

  36. flawson_9

Was at game. Ant was bad, Nurk wasn’t great but he wasn’t bad by any means. He’s playing against Jokic gotta cut him some slack no center can guard him. Refs were horrendous truly. And if we just hit our open shots we’d be right in it. No shame in this loss in my opinion

  37. Alicitorte

Dame was hard carrying tonight, Nurk and Ant were both awful. We kept up until we dug ourselves into a hole in the 3rd. Everytime Jokic or MPJ has the ball I know it’s going in man, still scarred from that series 2 years ago :'(.

  38. Radiant_Reveal_8745

We lost, but the first half looked good. We hung with arguably the best team in the west and dame looked great.

On Dame’s great play, it makes me optimistic that he has more than just a couple seasons at this level. If so, maybe that will give JC a couple of seasons to fix the roster and get dame the right supporting cast to win a chip. A solid starting 3 and another ball handler would go a long way to helping this roster.

I know if won’t happen but I’d be curious to see hart at the starting 2 and nas at 3. Then Ant, shaedon, gp2, winslow, eubanks as the 2nd unit.

  39. ripshippy77

Joker just fkd around and did a triple double on Nurk like it was an Ice Cube demo in ‘92 again
