I love the Hornets and I’m glad we drafted LaMelo. But you gotta admit, he would have fit in and looked really great in the Warriors System !
What Charlotte SHOULD'VE done was to sign LiAngelo during the preseasons. If you wanted your star to be happy and ensure that he stays a hornet and doesn't think about leaving, why not give him his brother…even if his there to make LaMelo happy(which is the whole purpose of bringing him in). Other than That, i don't see him signing that max extension, sorry🤷🏽♂️.

Lamelo is going to be a Future HOF player! The guy is a walking triple double threat and a walking offense.
He is an elite playmaker, passer, shooter, and passer. His body was not prepared to be in elite condition but hopefully with an off-season he can work on that. That's why he is having issues defensively. His shot is good but he wasn't in condition to shoot 20 plus shots per game. It will come
he fouls alot bc his feet are too slow
the more melo scores regardless of efficiency the more we get in return
Having rozier as his 2 guard will always sway melo from believing this team can compete

There was a couple times that I could see Lamelo restrain himself from fouling the opposing player after missing a shot or getting a turnover etc… imo the problem is that He plays with his hands on defense (and offense) instead of moving his feet, he has great instincts so he could be a great defender, he’s just gotta learn to stop using his hands as much and slapping down, and move his feet
The Ball family and the BBB brand should buy the hornets and shake the league up forever.
Plumlee missed a cutting Melo under the basket. Lamelo's face showed what it meant. It basically encapsulated his whole Charlotte experience. The fact that nobody saw it or cared speaks volumes. Melo is gone as soon as he can. All these crocodile tears will just quench his thirst when he's leading another team and crushing you.
