Ian observes that the hip injury which forced Brunson to miss time in late December, gave him a chance to “recharge his batteries”, and he has been worth every penny of the lucrative deal he signed with New York last summer. Ian also touches on the renewed coaching impact Tom Thibodeau is having and Kristaps Porzingis’ comments this week regarding his feelings for New York City.

JULIUS made it onto the NBA top 10 Plays of Friday night with that Homicidal DUNK. THIBS finally has managed the minutes right down the stretch…. everyone of the starters received adequate rest time on the bench.🤔
What Thibs did was juice up defense by benching Rose and Fourier and inserting McBride and having Grimes back. I think that was probably the biggest difference maker, in addition, of course, to JB finally growing into the role on this team. We definitely need to make some moves before the trade deadline to move on from Cam and maybe Fourier, both of whom should get some value back to us, hopefully in a form of a 3+D player. Of course, we could also go for a blockbuster all-star trade with all the picks and young players we have, if one becomes available. Even with us playing better now, we are still 6th seed, and face long odds moving up the playoffs.
Been a Knick fan since the days of Clyde & Earl the Pearl! Such a pleasure to watch JB who is the point guard, we have been missing for YEARS!!!!!
