The NBA better not rob Nikola Jokic of his third consecutive regular season MVP. This man is almost giving you a triple-double every night and he's a center! Don't bring up Luka's name in this conversation because he does belong in the same conversation as Jokic. Jokic is in a class of his own. Luka is averaging more points than Jokic and it's because he's taking 8 more shots than Jokic. If Jokic were to get 8 more shots in every night and making 62% of the shots, he would be averaging 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 9.8 assists. Jokic is a more complete and consistent player with the best team in the west.

What separates jokic from other candidates in the MVP voting in recent years is his incredible durability, similar to prime harden, he plays majority of the season and consistently puts on a great performance no matter the opponent when he easily could choose to rest like other star players
