No. 17 Miami came back from an 11-point deficit at home to beat Syracuse 82-78. Norchad Omier scored 16 points with 16 rebounds and had 2 blocks, including a game-sealing one on Judah Mintz at the very end. Harlond Beverly scored a key 16 points off the bench. Jordan Miller had a well-rounded game for the Canes, as he posted 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jesse Edwards led the Orange in points and rebounds with 25 and 11, and Joe Girard added 21 points with 5 assists.

Congrats to Miami. Thought we had you guys. Hopefully a rebound game if we see you in the Acc tournament. The Canes are on thier way to a NCAA tourney bid and the Cuse a 2 or 3 seed in the NIT. Baby steps for a young Cuse team. Better then last season. Far more competitive. Go Cuse!!! 🍊 💪
Mintz may be a good player but he cost the Orange to lose this game. First, taking a hard shot – on a one on two? WTF. Next time down he makes a lazy pass that gets picked by a Cane for a easy basket. Then with the game on the line, he just dribbles around not looking to pass at all, throws up a crazy, unmakeable shot and game over. If I'm Girard I'd be pissed! He's the senior, the leader, he's the captain and he never touches the ball? Wow. Last year's team & continuing this year it seems that Syracuse simply does not know how to pass the f-ing ball. Unbelievable to me
