For those who think Silas and the hard tank isn’t hurting development…. look what they did to our boy!
Green has been set up to fail, he has even said all the losing is getting to him. Yet we do nothing. Silas is still here. Improving our odds at a top two pick by 7% is not worth destroying the career of one of our best prospects already on the roster.
And even if we decide to move on from him, his trade value at this point is going to be greatly hurt — so even from a rebuilding/asset management perspective, even taking the human element out of it, this is indefensible.

I don’t think he will ever be the best player on a championship team either. He just doesn’t impact the game or make his teammates better
I think the best thing to do right now is build around Sengun and use Jalen Green in the Jamal Murray role. I think he could be a great 20-25 ppg guy for years to come

One of many reasons why Silas is hurting our development. Jalen is too often resulting to difficult shots because our overall offense has been dependent on a PG that isn’t a PG. Most of his easy looks this season has been setup by Sengun, but that too is limited due to Sengun’s limited minutes and coaches preference to run a different, less efficient offense. And finally, coaching staff has not stepped in to stop Jalen from forcing difficult shots. They let him do this and seemingly expect “organic learning” to lead to a better Jalen.
Just bad, bad vibes and negative development all around

Pretty obvious that he’s not a first option and I was downvoted for saying the same
But this is a bit overboard. Yes his efficency is bad but that’s due to his shot completely off. We’ve seen that’s he more then a capable shooter so hopefully this is just a very long cold streak.

Is this sub not tired of the Jalen Green slander? Jesus Christ I see the same posts everyday.

How many of these players were double teamed and trapped on the regular at this age?

I think it’s obvious he’s not a guy you build around but he’s a great #2 option

I think Green’s absolute peak is Zach Lavine which is good if you have a better player than him on your team. Btw isn’t it frightening that even DeRozan and Lavine duo isn’t good enough to get to a certain stage in this league? You genuinely need a superstar on your team. Look at recent winners. GSW-Curry+Durant, Bucks-Giannis, LAL-Lebron+Kobe+Shaq, Raptors-Kawhi, Dallas-Nowitzki, SAS-Duncan, Heat-Wade+Lebron, Celtics-Garnett+Pierce etc. Expecting Jalen to be as good as those guys isn’t doing him justice to be honest because only a few will develop into superstars.

Do people know what “down bad” means? Is Jalen Green super horny?
