Sign Jerome to a contract instead of trading assets for Pritchard

I like Pritchard so sounds good to me.

I don’t see why the Celtics would do this, he’s still cheap and not the worst depth. Guess they’d be dumb not to if someone came in offering a 1st (fucking lol) and/or a solid player. Should be buried pretty deep on their bench come the post-season, shit, he’s buried pretty deep this regular season (averaging about 10min a game).

Also not a big fan of the trade for the Warriors, Ty is doing a decent job on the 2way. Would rather offload JMG into a team’s cap space, hopefully just having to attach cash considerations to get it done (pretty much covering the cost of a buyout, and then some), and then hopefully target some vet come the buyout market. Already have a roster spot open, but I feel like it’s earmarked for Lamb.

Also also, not putting much stock into that initial report. Maybe they kicked the tires, but I doubt it went much further than that. Think they’re just checking in, probs should be doing that with most every team to get a good temp on the trade market

  4. When I woke up today, I was hoping we’re going to sign a guard that’ll finally fix our front court heavy roster. I can’t wait until this guy finally fix our backcourt problems.

This is so dumb, we have the bigger version of PP and his name is Ty Jerome.

How does this help our team at all?

I could see something like Rollins+JMG (and 1-2 seconds). An upgrade at PG isn’t our biggest need, but its not like we couldn’t use better minutes there over Ty in the regular season. Pritchard is also on a cheap deal this year and next year. Idk why Boston would do this though.

Like, maybe they’re discussing a Moody-Pritchard swap? Moody is stuck behind a pretty deep group of guys at SG/SF (Klay, Poole, Donte, Wiggs & JK)—I could see the logic of trading from a position of depth to address a weakness on the roster. Still wouldn’t do it though; I still like Moody and would only move him for anyone for someone who projected to be a major playoff rotation piece (we saw firsthand last year, PP’s not that guy lol).

Depends how much you hate it…..I hate it a lot

Unless Pritchard grew 8 inches, this compounds the problem.

This is definitely NOT a trade that moves the needle for us.

Correction: Depending on who or what we trade for him, it could move the needle BACKWARDS.

They need to trade for GP2. may be a hot take but we kinda needed him

  12. Smoke screen. We need a big that can shoot. I don’t get why PBJ is not getting at least 10 minutes a game.

  13. HotChipEater

this has to be bait, you could know nothing about the sport, choose trade targets entirely at random and be nearly guaranteed to find a better fit for the warriors.

  14. Legitimate_Alien

He looks like The Situation from jersey shore

  15. Beeezybruh510

Pretty sure this is vinnie from the jersey shore tho

  16. Friendly_Giant04

Never heard of him (not being sarcastic)

I live in Portland these days and he’s from this suburb of rich Republican rednecks about 10 miles away. I’m not even sure how to describe how or why but he looks like the redneckiest basketball player that I’ve ever seen. He scored 100 points at some pro am game here a few years ago and he’s pretty talented but his position is the absolute last one on the team that needs an upgrade.
