I didn’t catch the game – what do you think they’re saying?

  2. thatkellenguy

I think it’s pretty much just talking about defensive assignments. I seriously doubt this extends beyond one frustrating loss.

  3. Losalou52

They are longtime friends and teammates.
Played together at Oregon State. This is what communication looks like. I would rather this than passive aggressive silence.

  4. X_SkeletonCandy

Lol they were college teammates, they ain’t beefing they’re just frustrated

  5. rutabaga_pie

I just see two people who aren’t conflict adverse having an important conversation.

This is two very animated guys trying to hear each other in a loud ass crowded stadium. They could be arguing over which Pokemon they think is cuter for all we know.

  7. Reading too much into it. It’s called communication. Sometimes in the heat of battle it looks like this. They are hot cause the team losing. They were discussing a blow assignment. Shit happens all the time. It isn’t like Dray and KD situation from years ago

u/reptarrunner This is pretty typical on an NBA bench during games. I’d rather see this than not see it at all.

Tell GP2 to stfu dude doesn’t play all season and is trying to act like he’s somebody now. Gtfoh

  10. Ive noticed Gary get frustrated with Eubanks before this actually. I believe it was Gary’s second game back. At the very end of the first or second quarter Dame was just gonna ISO for the last possession and Gary was waving Eubanks to go to the corner to give Dame space. Eubanks ignored Gary and ran up to Dame to set a pick and Gary just threw his hands up and shakes his head in frustration lol.

Back when i played sports in highschool, i got into the most arguments with the people i was closest to actually. As long as nothing personal is said, its all coming from a place of competitiveness id say.

Nothing more than a friendly disagreement. People are soft about conflict anymore. Sometimes you don’t agree with your coworkers when the pressure is on…

I spent a few years doing lip readings as part of an investigative group. If I’m reading properly, Gary is saying “I love you so much, you are my best friend!!” In return Drew says “your friendship is a treasure and I cherish the moments we share!!”

  13. Billups is always in Eubanks’ ass, more so than anyone else. Way too many breakdowns for a backup.

Man the wishful thinking on this thread…

  15. Just a couple Beavs talking it out. I’m sure it was fine 5 minutes later.

  16. jrances1

I honestly like to see this.

    Drew and GP care.

  17. jaques_cousteau

Not sure reptar ever played a team sport. This is lovely to see IMO

  18. Gavinmusicman

Seen Gary do this to Drew 1000 times at osu. They were the first group to make the NCAA tourny for us since Gary Payton senior.

  19. InevitableHearing112

Frustration is the look Dame gave to the refs, this is the look of two people trying to communicate.

  20. Maclanethurston

Just a couple of beavers hanging out talking politics.

  21. peccaryiaye

I’m glad someone was in Eubanks’ ear. Dude couldn’t get a rebound to safe his life yesterday.

  22. mranglin

this is a good thing. challenging each other on defense and holding accountable. frustrating game but for the better!

  23. Worried_Present2875

I think Eubanks was upset cause he saw GP walk out of the bathroom without washing his hands.
GP is trying to explain to Eubanks that he didn’t touch anything with his hands which would not warrant washing them.
Eventually, Eubanks decides to choose a different battle and GP acquiesces by returning to the locker room to wash his hands.
