Get him and Westbrick off the fucking team.

  2. Rapa_Nui

Why would they hire a guy that has never been headcoach before to “win now”?

  3. Bussin_Out

Yep. The rest of the team was just standing around watching him dribble. Where’s the strategy?

  4. Empathetic_Walrus

One of the worst coaches in the history of the NBA

  5. Aggravating_Pea3882

There was no play drawn up lmao. I usually don’t say shit but fuck that was trash

  6. alexor_1

he has negative bb iq, his rotations are terrible, he doesn’t know how to close games and obviously DOESNT DRAW ANY PLAY

  7. kiwiwikikiwiwikikiwi

Man will sit Wenyen, Bryant, Christie, but leave Pat Bev and Russ in. 🤦‍♂️

  8. JesusDaBeast

I’m starting to lose faith in the man. He’s done some good stuff but he’s losing us too many games with boneheaded decision making.

It won’t matter though cause he won’t get fired but he needs to do better. No excuses.

  9. JaRuleTheDamaja

why is there no plays being called? there was an offense earlier this season. where did it go?

  10. TheWhisperingDeath

I have been quite vocal in favour of Darvin but man he has been so bad. I can sympathize with him that it’s a horribly constructed roster but he makes it difficult with bizzare closing lineups.

Like wtf is that closing lineup?

Pat Bev, Russ, Max, LeBron, Wenyen.

Max is your best shooter there.

Pat Bev and Wenyen are liabilities on the offense.

And with LeBron shooting like crap from 3, it’s hopeless.

  11. Seriously though, when he busted out the marker during the timeout I laughed hard.

  12. What what the hell is that knot on his forehead lol

  13. n3moh0es

if one of y’all ever see Darvin in LA, please smack the shit outta him. fucking disgrace

  14. MambaJiren

Ham is sincerely dumb. There’s a reason he never garnered head coaching interest. We made this hire out of reaction to Ime Udoka’s great first season. But he’s a Pop guy. Two different breeds.

  15. Clear_Lead

His entire brain is actually inside that little bump on his head

  16. KoryGrayson

Tonight was nothing new. Even the broadcasters talked about how the team wasn’t running plays.

Russ is to Ham what Rondo was to Vogel. Regardless of how bad he plays, regardless of the metrics, Coach keeps running him out there.

The Lakers don’t have to make things this hard on themselves. Just because Russ, Beverley, and Nunn have 3 of the top 5 contracts on the team doesn’t mean you have to play them.

    Facts over feelings my @ss!

  17. Ham manages the 4th quarter of a close game as well as Brandon Staley.

  18. jamesris10

    Dude we aren’t that bad

A couple games behind 6th place

  19. SuperElection3215

This is lookin more and more like Steve Nash Brooklyn stint. Why do GMs hire rookie coaches to lead old superstars? One time it worked in recent memory with Nick Nurse getting hella lucky and now this is becoming embarrassing

  20. MinervaNow

He’s in an impossible situation. Bron and Russ are calling the shots, not him

  21. nimkeenator

At least he put Westbrook in a position to win!

    Sort of…

    Or not.

  22. huge-tits

That thing on his head is actually his brain

  23. raymundodeluxe2

Yeah give the ball to lebron so he can miss it

  24. badbeehavr

Even Stu Lantz called out that we weren’t running any plays towards the end of the game

  25. jiveturker

I agree with the criticisms here. But I don’t think he was a bad hire. I like the culture he’s building. I think he needs a couple of assistants to help him with rotations and late game management. He also needs to create better spacing on the offense and get better decision making from his backcourt players. Lakers offense lacks flow and spacing. Teams get to rest on defense way too much. Lakers waste time early in the shot clock then force bad shots as time is running out. Gotta be smarter than that. And Russ is frustrating. He can make plays, he really can. But he forces things that aren’t there and never just takes what the defense gives him. Defense sags off the wing and chests to the post? He forces it into post. Defense leaves him open for a jumper? He forces himself into the defender and takes an off balance shot with a big man in his face. It’s miserable to watch.

  26. This might not make any sense what I’m going to say but Ham is a good player coach but not a game manager.

  27. let_me_see_that_thon

welp only took half a season for the base to scapegoat the coach for this turd roster construction.

  28. jcwkings

Can’t believe you guys got rid of Frank Vogel to hire Darvin Ham. That’s brutal.

  29. XxNoKnifexX

This guy was the overwhelming consensus pick by everyone on this sub. With that being said. Who knows how good a coach he is. You could have the love child of a Phil/Pop/Auerbach three way, and they wouldn’t win anything with this roster. Coaching in the nba is secondary to roster by a long long way.

  30. TorontoRaptors34

    Easy close game line ups.

Russ/Bev TBJ Bron JTA TB or Wenyon maybe Max its not perfect but at least u got size to match and make up for shit.

At NO POINT SHOULD U BE PLAYIN BEV NUNN AND SCHRODER TOGETHER!!!

  31. retrograderevolution

His brain is that small bump on his skull. The rest is hollow.

  32. Kobe4ever248

Between this dude being a total clown for my Lakers and god damn Brandon Staley fucking my Chargers up I cant handle anymore of these shit for brains rookie head coaches RUINING my LA Sports teams!! Lol I’m losing it I swear.

  33. BostonBlueDevil

Got wrecked inside and Sabonis wasn’t even playing. Sheesh.
