  1. Well, we could have rolled over and died but we fought back to prevent it from being a complete blowout. If Little can stay healthy I feel like he’ll take Hart’s starting spot. He just gives us so much more on the offensive end. He should have been in to close this game. Hopefully someone asks Chauncey about it.

  2. ajmcgill

My takeaway is that Nassir is ready to start (and frankly should’ve closed instead of Hart)

Dame gets trapped hard and the team doesn’t do anything but stand still. Ridiculous how this is still haunting this team

  4. dreem_teem

Maybe Phil Knight could offer Jody Allen some giraffe and penguin bones for the purchase of the team. And then Phil can persuade LeBron James to join the Nike Blazers, if we promise to get his son on the team. And then LeBron recruits Draymond Green and OG to join the team. And then I buy season tickets, and watch the Blazers become the 2024 champs.

I’ve resorted to not watching and just checking the feed here last few games. Why do I still feel so much pain?

  6. ChaossssValo

Gave me false hope with that lil comeback at the end

  7. Ishfluent

It’s gotten to the point where Chauncey needs to be looked at. His offensive scheme is hoping his best players win him games. His defensive scheme is trying to hide two guards on defense and having the centers guard the perimeter.

  8. W31_D0N9

Looks like ISO ball is back on the menu boys!

  9. Ishfluent

The blazers start poorly and try to make a comeback. Another day at the office.

  10. politicole07

Our defense was actually good tonight we just had a dang lid on the hoop

  11. So nas just didn’t earn any of those last minutes?

  12. BobbyWojak

Don’t even start, we did our thing, on to the next game.

  13. Ishfluent

If this home stand doesn’t work out there’s nothing else to play for this season.

  14. trippptrs

One Nassir no longer has a minutes restriction he should start. Something needs to change.

  15. BrownSol

A sad but expected ending. Chauncey’s lineup choices just haven’t been it for us. Definitely sorely missed GPII this game as well. I’m just afraid he’ll continue to be injury prone

  16. Bobsmauncle

So what do you think Chauncey will have to say about that shit show?

  17. eats_shoots_and_pees

I’m gonna go ahead and memory hole that experience.

Don’t hate it, we played a really strong second half and the game was basically even after that poor stretch at the beginning. We’re right in that if Dame has even an average night.

Also Billups please give Nassir more minutes. Feel like we could have come all the way back with him in.

Dug themselves into a hole. This is a very common theme. This is why Dame is clutch, they always play from behind and never play with the lead. My thoughts, this team can’t win and won’t win until changes are made. And they have always struggled with consistency and they still do and will continue until a complete rebuild. I’m happy to watch Dame continue to break records but I don’t expect him to win a championship for the Blazers. On to the next record breaking performance from the greatest Blazer ever.

    Edit: spelling

Game was over by the half , all those turnovers were ugly and lazy

  21. Team needed GP2 tonight. Don’t think Ant should close games if Lillard is going to dominate the ball in the 4th. He doesn’t keep anyone in front of him on defense and teams hunt him.

  22. loudstain

That first half was worse than any game I saw last year by a mile with the goon squad. Nassir was an awesome spark though and it’s awesome seeing him back.

  23. waterkisser

I’m going to erase this game from my memory, except for Nas with 10 points and 6 rebounds in 17 minutes. That I’m remembering.

  24. Ishfluent

The formula to win with dame is simple: surround him with length that make open shots. That’s it!!! Stop surrounding a small PG with more small players.

  25. KillingTime_ForNow

Couldn’t even get me free nuggets. Fucking bums.

  26. BrklynDragon

Once again, and it bears repeating considering since reports indicate that ant is “untouchable”, we see that the ONLY guys who can take any pressure off Dame when he’s being trapped like that, are big wings like Grant. Even Little was able to be effective before Billups bafflingly pulled him.

This 2 guard shit needed to be done with *yesterday*. We can talk about banal stuff at the fringes like GPII (who’ll never be healthy this year consistently) or a rui hachimura, but as long as Ant is the starting 2 guard, it’ll be guaranteed mediocrity. Short of him taking a Devin Booked like leap (which he won’t, and even that it’s still not enough), the FO is wasting everyone involved.

  27. Montigue

The NBA just won’t let Embiid foul out. He had like 10 fouls this game

  28. Forbidden_Donut503

No reason to read too much into this loss. We were outmatched, and played awful awful basketball in the first half. The entire team and coach were on full tilt that first dogshit half. Not much you can learn when you get smashed like that. 76ers are just so much better than we are. Move on to the next one.

  29. chillin_mcgee

We still have a few home games left to win!

  30. gorillapunchTKO

January is our easiest month and we have made it a complete disaster. Lol
