John Wall recently ripped his old team – the Houston Rockets – on a podcast. He called his time there “trash” and brought up some serious red flags. If he’s correct it is seriously troubling for the young roster – but is he right?

  1. A great example of this is Christian wood. Always thought of as a virus or a curse in the locker room and someone who has attitude problems until he was traded away from the rockets

  2. John wall not the same player he use to be with all the injuries that happened to him it is unfortunate but not every one is able to come through tough injuries it hard to be a pro with tall the pressure that surrounds you and the attention they receive. And the constant pain they have to go through to fight for respect and to fight for wins is not the easy being a pro. And it comes with a lot of challenges and responsibilities, with tough lessons. It comes with so much drama and other emotions. It is emotionally game to play and it takes your mental understanding of the game to be
Something great along side with risks, and it is all about having strong motivation to do something that no one thinks you can do. About learning from your mistakes and getting outside your comfort being Able adapt to the pro league environment it takes you being locked in and holding your self to a accountable. And you have to be willing to sacrifices for the team to find a way to make a difference by helping them win. And it takes trust and confidence to be successful.

  3. They not gonna let Paul Silas son go cause of his daddy. But that team super young. They get Victor and trade that senbad dude who constantly stay gettin dunked on that’s a whole squad of young bulls all they need is a coach who gone be on they ass.

    * I only say let slias go cause he too nice them young dudes need somebody on they ass like a darvin ham a coach like that or Chauncey

  4. He’s 100% right, Houston is embarrassing and pathetic as an organization right now and the last three years. Zero improvement at all…. not like improvement to change the whole direction of the team, literally can’t even improve a slight tiny bit from the absolute gutter of the league, the history of the league too not just right now, over three full years. The worst part of it is the terrible roster construction and how awful the culture of this team is. It’s laughable

  5. Rockets fan here, I honestly feel good about our future especially if we get a high pick next season. There will probably be big moves made next season as we don’t have our pick.

  6. Rockets fans don't want to admit that Jalen Green and Jabari Smith are failures. They aren't NBA washouts, but for drafting that high they ain't worth it. Rockets fans compare Jalen Green to a young Michael Jordan. I'm like bruh,….dude totally looks like Carmelo Anthony, just a dude that inconsistently scores and never wins anything.

  7. Congratulations on the baby by the way! You’re one of my favorite NBA content creators, and you don’t fall into the trap of hearing one rumor and making a whole “BREAKING NEWS (EXPOSED)” video.

  8. He didn't just a Justin Pattons name . He listed the whole team similar to how kd did earlier on in the season… I hate how we cut videos to make content and its not even right.

  9. I'm hard on the Rockets and Rockets fans, because I AM a ROCKETS FAN. I knew Tillman Fertitta was weasley little troublemaker the moment he bought the team. And I can't stand all these high school and college age Rockets fans that insist Jalen Green is a future Michael Jordan.

  10. I get your point about the sixers but Butler was traded there not signed as a free agent…. Just a thing I need to point out to help me sleep at night

  11. Wall speaking a lot of truth but also is salty Houston just viewed him as money going out. In his head I think he still thinks people should treat him like prime wall in Washington.

  12. I mean you said it yourself. They weren't winning when Wall was playing. So why not use those minutes to develop the young guy's. "But he's a vet that can help them". What team is spending 40+ million dollars on a disgruntled vet. To teach their players tough love? No one. And look at him now. Getting minutes and his team is still losing.. Respectfully

  13. This is just another tank and rebuild like all teams tryna do now a days with ridiculous amount of draft picks. I don’t blame the rockets they atleast have a brighter future than the mid teams

  14. The only reason Sengun is averaging just 3 assists is because his teammates are throwing bricks

  15. bro the guy the sixers picked 25th over kuzma at 27 is such a hindsight take

as a basketball youtuber you of all people should know late draft picks are a roll of the dice

  16. John Wall savage? more like salty overpaid injury prone jerk, Imagine if Rockets is trash yet they don't want you in there, that says a lot. I am not even a fan of Rockets but they have two young score first players in Kevin Porter and Jalen Green. The houston rockets knows how to develop talent and knows how to let go of trash, look at what they did to the superstars that played for them, they are not afraid to change things up. Sadly John Wall is already pass his prime because of injuries, even the clipps which is a contending team barely gives him any playing time. The problem wasn't with the Wizards, Clippers or Houston. It is this dude that can no longer accept that his allstar days is beyond him.

  17. The rockets GM isn't putting their guys in position to win. They should be all on Green and Sengun. They got so many guys other team would want they are just tanking away. They should look a lot different this time next season with older players.

  18. Does James Harden really wanna go back to a toxic insubordinate young team?

  19. The Rockets are in that bad of a place honestly. They have plenty of cap-space this summer, 2 potential franchise players in Jalen Green and Alperen Snegun, plus the highest odds currently at Victor. John Wall is just airing out dirty laundry. Come back in a year and if there are still a dumpster fire then I will agree and move on. However, we have to see the process through before we can bash it

  20. I couldn’t understand a thing Wall said, and neither could subtitles… lmao… like Kendrick Perkins on Xanax

  21. the magic and pistons have had about 15 combined 20 win seasons the last 20 seasons. wtf kind of comparisons are these?

  22. 7:26 surprising mistake to see from you. Butler was traded there and left in free agency to Miami (which was his 2nd free agency, he signed 5 year rookie max in Chicago which ended on philly), technically via sign and trade. But he joined via trade, he had them on his list but calling him free agent who joined is a stretch. The other big free agent outside JJ that they managed to get was Horford.

  23. Rockets should be playing thru sengun and jabari, but for tanking reasons they rather let the two ball hogs, kpj and jalen green, continue to jack up awful contested shots 🤢🤮

  24. I really think the problem is the GM. The young guys are shackled. If the GM says tank, the coach follows and the players tank. I still remember Silas should be good (was good with Luka) and was hired to coach Harden but it fell apart because Harden wanted out right before Silas gets the opportunity to actually coach. No matter how fast your car is, if the driver sucks, u wont break records and that driver is Rafael Stone! The only GM that sits right next to players and coach in interviews, might be scared they say something he dont like. I also remember he was sitting right next to Wall during the interview and Wall behaved like a confused and scared sheep during the interview.
