I think the one the offends me the most is hearing so many white players described as “HIGH basketball IQ” or as “Smart”.
Not that those terms are never used to describe a black player but rather I hear it applied to white players far too often.
The reality is that many of them are no smarter than anyone else but that they are less physically gifted so they have to play thier assigned role more rigorously than some other guys who can rely on explosiveness and verticality.
