Sometimes I wonder if Celtics should not play starters against Raptors in regular season. Extremely physical game which seems to always bang up our starters and Nick Nurse drama on sidelines.
Sometimes that one win isn’t worth the potential season ending injury to a starter.
Watching the Celtics stymie the utterly bagless Siakam in a big spot and him cough up the game on that useless spin move was very satisfying.
You learn a lot from games like these.
3 starters out for various reasons, your bench comes up massive. PP, Batman and Brogdon all stepped up.
Scal needs to stop saying Grant’s 25 is his career high, dude had 27 in Game 7 against the Bucks. This was just his regular season high
If it wasn’t for LeBron I’d be making arguments that Al is the most athletic 36+ year old NBA player ever. He still moves so well.
I’m incredibly impressed, but I also don’t love the consecutive 40 minute games for JB (and the entire second half tonight I believe) coming off the groin injury. Maybe it should be his turn for a night off in Orlando. See if Tatum can get Pritchard and Hauser firing at the same time
