In the last 15 games, the Suns have been the second worst team in the NBA. This comes after the Suns were the number 1 team in the West coming into December with a . Now they are under .500. **What happened?**

The black spaces are missing games and well I think I can make out a J in here…yeah it’s been that bad. The Suns have been the team most impacted by injuries in the NBA by far. Cam Johnson went down with a knee that’s sidelined him for 37 games. Booker’s missed 18 games and counting with a hamstring injury, and now a groin injury which will keep him out for another 5 games at the minimum.

Even if the Suns become fully healthy, even if they start winning, they haven’t addressed concerns. Deandre Ayton and Monty Williams fighting. Chris Paul looks like he’s fallen off. **Mikal Ayton arguing and Beal instigating…alright this is just funny.** And not to mention, the Suns have seemed to be in the middle of it all, in everything but their play and their play has regressed.

**The Suns are falling apart, and here’s the 3 main reasons.**

The Suns have propelled themselves as one of the best teams in the NBA after getting CP3 in 2020. Second seed in 2020-21, 64 wins and first seed last season. **Winners work**…

This was their downfall, an attitude shift. Acting as if they were champions without the championship, I mean, everybody acting tough when they up.

However, the Suns plummeted to 12th in the West right now. Injuries are a factor, but the injuries are showing flaws in the roster. The Suns are supposed to be one of the deepest rosters, their players should step up if Booker is out. Think about what the Suns did in the bubble with the same coaching staff under Monty Williams. With a roster that no one believed in, they went undefeated. But watching the Suns, this team looks defeated. Ayton said that he’s not used to the no fight in us.

Booker is still playing at an ALL-NBA level, but Chris Paul straight up isn’t the same dude. Up until this season he’s been Point God level, especially in the clutch. Last year in clutch situations he had a net rating of +52.0, this year he’s at -29.3

Chris Paul has had a positive impact everywhere he’s went, but the Suns have a negative net rating with CP3 on the court (-1.0) and a positive rating with him off (3.6). Yes, the Suns somehow are better without him. Last year the suns were +10.0 with CP3 on the court and got worse without him, falling to +4.8 with him off the court so a pretty big drop off

Chris Paul is old, he’s 37 years old. He’s expected to regress a bit, especially during the regular season. But during his most recent 16 games stretch, mostly without Book, he’s averaging 15.3 points 7.7 assists, but is shooting a miserable 44% from the field, with a -6.0 +/-.

And during that stretch, he’s been in 7 clutch situations, but saving his worst for the end, shooting 31% from the field in the last 5 minutes of close games. The Suns are 1-6 in those games.

His current injury, along with Booker’s hammy opened the door for Ayton to step up. Deandre Ayton is finally gonna show us why he should be getting the ball more, oh he went 5 for 18 with 11 points against the Twolves and then came out the next game and got out hustled and embarrassed by Steven Adams in a 30 point massacre.

The former #1 pick has been the biggest disappointment this season and nobody seems to care. **But that’s really the third reason.**

**You would think that he would pick up the slack and pick up some of the scoring load left by Booker, but nah**, in the 15 games since Book got hurt, Ayton is averaging 17.8 P, 9.9 R on a horrible for a big 53% shooting. Not terrible stats, but in no way is it a step up from last year when everyone was healthy and he averaged 17.2 P, 10.2 R, on 63.4% shooting.

After years of Booker and CP3 working with Ayton, he seems comfortable with his money and hasn’t stepped up. The advanced number say he’s having the worst year of his career, he has a -1.2 WAR, which has him ranked as the 8th worst player in the entire league!

Losses to teams like the Rockets (twice), Wizards (twice), Raptors, even the Knicks are not expected from a Finals contender. The Suns are closer to the #1 pick than the #1 seed.

  1. Calm down with all the videos. The team is dealing with injuries. Wait until our team gets healthy. Might be a blessing in disguise

  2. They should have taken Luka. Luka still has no ALL STAR teammate and yet he is carrying his team to the POs and the Western Finals last year. His current roster can't win without him (they are 0 wins and those are against the worst teams in the NBA) and yet they look like a team many teams wants to avoid in the 1st round (they have a better record against .500 teams). Imagine Luka and D Book playing together and those defensive wings they've got: Suns would've won a championship already.

  3. We get it. You hate Phoenix, and you’re going to ride their hate bandwagon to 1M subs. They are finding ways to win games without any or all of these players: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Cam Johnson, Cameron Payne, Landry Shamet, Jae Crowder, and others. Those guys will eventually be healthy, and then the real hate begins.

  4. They deserve it after past years how they act rudee towards other fans.

  5. The Sun's probably weren't as bad during the Charles Barkley era but now they're just annoying

So annoying that I bet anybody the team will have no choice but to relocate

  6. Jae Crowder is fascinating, but good for him, if any schmuck can ask for a trade, you might as well do it

  7. Booker needs to realize that the Luka special is only done once in a while and not the entire season and the entire team.

  8. 6:506:58 yeah. you tricked yourself by not going deep dive on your research. 3rd year of cp3's contract is only partially guaranteed at 15mil, and 4th year is a team option.

  9. As a suns fan…1 reason….Ayton. I wonder what it is like to have a big man that can jump to rebound or dunk…even just a big man with hands with better grip strength than a toddler

  10. I saw this coming with Ayton (performance wise). I like Ayton but when you look around the league at top big men, Ayton isn't even near that level. I always thought the Suns were going to forgo signing, and let another team to make an offer that they could match, it saves them significant in cap space (if Suns made an offer it would have to be a max, which would be a returning player max and more than what other teams could offer). Ayton just doesn't seem like a max player, I don't see it. He comes off and his play is always closer to the Steven Adams or Bams vs top guys. Its not saying he isn't a great player, but he isn't a max contract, same contract as Luka player, and that's what he would have been if the Suns made him an offer. Suns front office play was a bit heartless, but it was the right move.

  11. As a pels fan I’m happy they falling off I liked them until they made the finals then they got cocky asf for no reason
