Leaving CJ open is the best analytic move in the game.

  2. DaggersKnuckles

CJ lost us this game plain and simple

Edit: I still love him as our third star behind BI and Zion but man you’d think you could count on him to hit some open looks more consistently when he’s the main guy out there. Just tough to watch him play when he’s cold

  3. legend023

We don’t have a closer and we had many opportunities to tie it up and we didn’t

This is a tough loss considering the lead we had and we are continuing to fall in the standings, brutal

  4. JakeGittes74

CJ, my brother in Christ, what is it that you are doing?

  5. qwerty170

Nuggets and Timberwolves up next, Timberwolves may overtake us in the standings by next week. Now we’re stuck in the clustered West anything can happen
Memphis Denver only teams standing out record wise

  6. Ciccone7

Simply have to be better. Offense was awful today. Way too many turnovers and missed looks. That 5 second on Dyson was bullshit tho.

Hopefully this is rock bottom and good news is on the way. Back at it Tuesday vs Denver.

  7. Pinky1337

First 22 minutes were incredible. Last 26 minutes were ass.

  8. Senor_Pug

I mean CJ was open it just didn’t fall I’m ok with that. 4 L in a row I ain’t worried tho.

  9. westwardpelican

On the bright side Dyson is good at basketball and should be starting every game from now on

  10. poorwhitecash

Too many turnovers.. shot like shit… some bad calls… Great defensive intensity.. we win that one easily with Zion, BI, & Knife.

Ughhh this is hard to watch

  11. _Wado3000

If we got Christian James today instead of lower case cj we win this one. BI being back soon is the brightest hope we have.

  12. SpaceAfricanJesus

CJ put up a stinker at one of the worst times to do it.

We’re 3-9 in our last 12 but don’t worry, no changes should be made AT ALL. Right?

  13. definitelydidntcheat

Bruh this Last 2 Minute report is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥

  14. Dixxxine

Well, I feel we are heading in the right direction? Turnovers definitely hurt us thow and the refs didn’t help!

  15. GentlestCrib15

That was a bad shot we had six seconds left AFTER it hit the rim, get a better look or go for the tie

  16. Savings-Bird-1226

Add Bill Kennedy to the list.

In all honesty I hope someone would hire a private investigator for the refs. That was the most blatant ref “mistake” since the Saints vs Rams

  17. Gamez6444

24 turnovers. I hope they have all the turnovers on video and loop it for everyone.

  18. Mesame121489

So is someone finally going to go off on the refs? This shit is getting ridiculous. I’m tired of watching our guys get ho’ed every game

  19. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

Tough to win when our “best” option was awful. We can’t be turning over the ball like that either.

I might need to take a break from the team until BI or Zion comes back.

    Lots of losses coming up.

Edit: is anyone concerned about Trey’s defense? He has a neg +/- for the year. And the eye test isn’t great either.

  20. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

Yo, how fucking good was Dyson tho?

  21. first2kneaux

CJ had 10 points going into the 4th WITH BI & ZION OUT!!!!!!!!! Thats hard to do!!!!!!!!

  22. BobMarleynthewhalers

the turnovers killed us. up 16. the ref mistake is not the reason we lost.

  23. AnotherStatsGuy

Let’s get rid of the turnovers, stop Devonte from shooting inside half-court, and go from there.

  24. JakeGittes74

I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna be positive here. Against my better judgment. This lineup, very depleted, learned what it takes to compete. Hopefully. Where are you, BI? Where are you tonight?

  25. amadea_saoirse

Lakers at 13th seed is only 5 games behind, yet people aren’t worried at all because we are still the “4th seed”. Time to snap back to reality.

  26. L_3nfants_Terribles

Bro Chelsea is my football team and the Pels are my squad…

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JESUS STOP KILLING MY PLAYERS WITH INJURIES

  27. BubbleGumGuy94

I need Willie to look at these losses and actually see he needs to make adjustments, man has his head in the sand, I don’t understand how he constantly thinks playing devontae is a good idea

Or having lineups with no offensive weapons, just cj on the floor, of course he’s gonna struggle

  28. DsiEnthusiast

Being forced to watch First option CJ McCollum is basketball terrorism

  29. sonics_fan

Yeah this squad without BI and Zion can hang with anyone for a few games but for weeks at a time you just have too many guys in roles beyond where they’re most effective and playing way more minutes than they’re used to. I think the things that we’ve struggled with recently make sense because they’re symptoms of mental/physical fatigue: turnovers, missed free throws, defensive brain farts.

Any team missing they’re two best players is going to struggle to string together wins, even a team as deep as the Pelicans. The Grizzlies trio have all missed time but not really 2 of them for an extended stretch. Any other team is bottom tier if their two best players are out for a long time.

  30. afriendlyspider

Last couple of games come down to, everyone is overextended playing outside of their roles because Zion and BI are out. Nothing else needs to be said
