Ant in a league of his own when it comes to finishing among young players
Creating & making buckets at the rim can be difficult for young players who haven’t fully developed their physicality and craft. This shows 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year players
High= Elite finishing
Low= Missing every layup
Left= Spoon-fed
Right= Self-creation kingWHAT STANDS OUT? pic.twitter.com/x1RrTWU2R6

I remember last year when ant went on his stint of not being able to make a layup for the life of him. Glad he’s cleaned up and excelled in that this year
Imagine him with Ja’s whistle.
NBA University’s Observations:
>
1. The further right the tougher it is to be high up. Keep that in mind
2. Rockets all do a lotta self-creation it seems…
3. Ant’s finishing underrated this year. Should be drawing more fouls
4. Love seeing Jalen Williams that high in his rookie year”
So we’re not homers for thinking Ant should have more fouls! #1 is an important observation too.
This, at least on the surface, seems to track because Franz Wagner is ridiculously good at finishing.
Ant seems a bit inconsistent to rate this highly, but maybe I’m perceiving things that way because he does miss some bunnies and he takes a super steady diet of tough ones.
Also, for anyone looking, Jaden is up above the 1 mark too (just really far to the left).
