Don’t like either of the guys mentioned, but to be honest I sadly I do think Naz will be traded at the deadline if we decide to make any moves 🙁
I feel like Miami & the Clips probably make the most sense. Feel like Naz could contribute on most teams though.

Seems inevitable that Naz is unfortunately going to be on the move. Even if we’re willing to pay him, I just can’t see him wanting to stay as the 3rd center when he can get a bigger role elsewhere. We also have Luka and Knight who have both proven to be serviceable back ups too.
Mann would probably be a better for for this roster today but Bones would be a great peice for the future.
He’s only 22 and has shown to already be a great 3P shooter. Obviously has work to do with the rest of his game but he could be a great shooter off the bench.
I would also like to point out that Bones is not a good defender so this would likely kick Nowell out of the rotation. Terrance Mann is a plus defender and a good slasher that’s pretty underrated IMO

I would hate to see Naz go but if they believe in Garza as being a guy who can help and don’t think they can resign Naz… get what you can get.
Two interesting options. I think Mann is a better player but Bones would fill the shooting need. I’d be impressed to land either

This reads pretty clearly to me like Scotto is just naming guys on the Clippers and Nuggets that the Wolves might be interested in, not that there has been any talk about trading those players in particular

Nah, Bones is under contract for several years. Doesn’t make financial sense for them to do that.
Bones would be great if he could improve his defense, I’m feeling Rui Hachimura mainly because our wing depth is a little shaky with Prince getting injured. Regardless Nowell has started to wear out his welcome with his defense and shooting, I’m a little worried that Bones might be a Jokic merchant but his talent is undeniable

Terrance Mann is a possibility. Having one more wing in the rotation is always a good thing. Mann is paid 2m this year so the salaries match, he already signed an extension 22m/2years, quite reasonable.

wait until you find out Bones is the exact same type of player, thats even smaller and can get abused more often on the defensive end. Only difference is he’s horrid at finishing but is streaky from deep, whereas nowell is great at finishing and bad from deep

Doesn’t sound like trades Denver or LA would make. Looks like Bones is in a bit of a slump with 6 terrible games in a row, maybe buying him with his value a little low. I have read Bones is a bad defender, but having him take all of Nowell’s minutes would be a big gain for us. I would imagine any team trading for him would require Naz to agree to an extension with a trade, if they are giving up a good player in return.
Mann has a couple games against us that give me PTSD but Bones shooting would be a huge asset given our poor shooting roster without Kat.
Mann plz! He’d be a great addition on the wing. And a 1:1 trade for Naz works straight up because he’s still on his rookie deal (extension kicks in next year).
