Ku you got to calm down. You are going to age yourself fast. I totally agree with you on Casey though. He doesn't have the ears of the players. He's a defensive coach who systems is the worst in the league. We need a coach that can get through to these guys. I don't know whose that coach but Weaver can't establish a winner with a defensive culture like this even if Detroit is lucky enough to get Wembanyama.

Hey Ku. I'm one of those people who say that next year for the Pistons will be their turn around year. The problem once again, is not the Pistons roster, it is that dwane Casey… DOES NOT PLAY THE RIGHT LINEUPS. ALL HE HAS TO DO IS PLAY THE RIGHT LINEUPS, AND THE PISTONS WILL BE INSTANTLY BETTER! IF HE PLAYED THE RIGHT LINEUPS, THE PISTONS WOULD INDEED MAKE THE PLAYOFFS! Dwane Casey, was even making mistakes before this season even started. I say that because I believe that he should have kept Balsa Koprivica to be the Pistons legit big man in the middle. He also should have kept Braxton Key. Anyway man it's not up to me who plays so until somebody coaching the Pistons can figure out who to put in the Lineups both starting and bench, this team will continue to be absolutely terrible.🤦
When are people going to get it. The Pistons are playing for Wembanyama. I don't care how they look. When they are healthy the team is a lot better than their record. When we get Wembanyama this is going to be a top ten defensive team. If they screw this up and don't have one of the worst record in going to be pissed. Casey is doing what he is told to do. We never had the talent to be good. He knows he won't be the coach when this team is good. Please tell me what the heck you expect with the talent that's on this team.

Dwayne Casey would be an asset as Assistant GM or Director of Player Development, but we really need a new head coach before the Troy Weaver era begins to look like a colossal failure.
Appreciate you openly criticizing everybody from top down, there’s a lot of content creators and people in the Pistons community who wouldn’t dare say a negative word about Weaver or Casey and it’s honestly getting ridiculous. I was on another creators platform while they were live and they had the nerve to call the fans morons because fans we’re critical of Casey, some players and what’s going on with the team.
Pistons have to accept that some players might not fit on our roster and will develop and find success in other places like Middleton and Dinwiddie. We need to continue to add top tier 2way talent that FITS this roster and find a young coach with a fresh vision for the future. I 100% agree we’re not going anywhere if we elect to stay the same trotting out the same guys with the same tired excuses!
Btw Wizards practically gave away Rui Hachimura to Lakers, I think that’s a failed opportunity on Weaver just like not pulling the Bol Bol trade. Seems like the organization is building emotional attachments to players and are not willing to make necessary moves imo!

Between the highest of highs and lowest of lows, somewhere between the two is our average, but our lowest of lows are underground level, usually based on low effort and no basketball IQ. Bojan is the same no defense guy he was in Utah, Burke is his same no defense, poor decision making, streaky shooting self… the problem is they’ve been the most consistent in wins and losses. Our young guys haven’t developed to the point Burke and Bogdanovic can have off nights or be benched. They aren’t even keeping the games consistently respectable, let alone go on some sort of winning streak. The lame duck Casey knows he is, tries to ride the old heads like THEY can develop and save his poor coaching / development with a win here and there. He continues to sacrifice the confidence and development of our young guys in the hopes Burke gets hot. He ruins a chance to grow in the hopes Bojan finally hits a game winner. They play the worse defense on the team… but have the green light??!? Time to go upstairs to a shiny corner office or stay home.
Even without Cade, I think we all hoped to have similar levels of progression as what MEM showed by their yr 2 and 3, even a sniff…but we keep getting embarrassed like we don’t have pride; we get clowned and pointed at by other teams consistently. Probably the worst reflection our hard working city could have representing us.

I have mentioned that I grew up 2 hrs from Detroit, but have lived here in Wisconsin for a long time now. You hit a game when Giannis and Middleton were back. Big difference. Sorry about beat down, what to do about Pistons? Cade injury huge. Should they have taken Green with first pick? He is lighting it up in Houston. Would have been interesting. Get rid of Casey, new blood might help. My only other thing you can do is forget the Pistons this year and root for the Bucks🏆

Coach Casey is doing a perfect job with the Detroit Pistons in TANKING. If we had a better coach in the last three years we would not have Stewart, BEY, Killian, Cade, Ivey, nor Duren. And now we have a chance for Victor or Scoot Henderson. Everybody knows this is Casey last year has our Head coach. The futures is bright once the Detroit Pistons trade Bojanovic and We find new Defensive minded coach with good Offensive X"O"S next year we will be in the playoff with the Starting LIne next fall will be Duren and Victor, Stewart, Cade and Ivery

Finaly I agree with most of the stuff you mentioned. Obviously this coach is just bad. Theres no motivation, no team spirit, no game plan game in, game out. Sad to say but this team dont look like getting much better even with Cade back. Maaaan Pistons fans, you have it rough.The only thing you guys have to look forward to is possibly getting Wemb. As for now, the only thing interesting is what can the Pistons get for Bojan if they even move him and I hope they do.

I took up for Casey. I can’t anymore. I’d argue that we are worse off now than previous years. The future looks bad. Let’s be honest. This franchise blows and I’m extremely disappointed. I drank the kool aid with Troy weaver. We’re in trouble. Ku you’re finally feeling how I feel. Respect to u. I turned that bullsh@& off after the first quarter. That was awful basketball. I refuse to watch that sh&@ 80 at halftime? Casey should’ve been fired at halftime. He’s been instructed to tank. No doubt about it

I was hoping that we could make it to the off-season for a change in coaching.
With that said. We can't expect to get our long term solution in the middle of the year. So for the rest of the year it would probably go to an assistant coach.
If there isn't a huge turn around in the next few weeks then Casey should step down.
I haven't been high on John Collins but if the price is right he may be worth it. I have the feeling that Trae didn't want to share the fans with Collins and therefore isolated him. Just look at his selfishness and it makes sense.
Tbh we probably wont get a ring with Greek in the league. I dont see any man being able to gaurd him. Victor damn sho wont be able to gaurd him
Cade, and Duren, are the only locks imo. Then we can talk about who the the probables are. Guys like Killian, Stew, Ivey and Livers are probables. Everything else can go and I would not mind it at all. Get a second rounder for Bags, Bey, Burks and maybe Noel and a first for Bojan. Everything else would be salary filler and rightly so.
More than anything I hate lack of effort. I started following this team in the ‘86 because they were gritty passionate dogs.
They never cheated the fans. Teams that faced them knew they were in for a fight!
That’s the foundation and formula of Pistons basketball. This present team is a rebuild, so I expected losses. What I didn’t expect to see was teams living in the paint, scoring at will, and breaking records on us.
I didn’t expect to see us giving low and no effort. It’s time to make changes. How we’re losing these games is revealing us to be soft and non-competitive collection of guys who quit a long time ago.
