Jokic may be called "the joker", but to me, he's the standard, he's what big men should aim to be. A truly all around basketball phenom. Seriously, he's probably the smoothest player ever
For clarification, there is a version of Shaq that COULD have guarded Jokic (not completely shutting him down but speaking formidable defense). However, that version of Shaq is not the same one who holds the title for most dominant player and won 3 straight chips. In a universe where Shaq maintained a lean weight closer to his early years in Orlando is the version of Shaq that could’ve guarded Jokic
Shaq=strong player, Jokic=skilled player. if they were to guard each other on their prime they struggle against each other for sure, but I give slight edge for Jokic since he's a stretch BIG and he can shoot 3.
Great video. My only problem w Jokic is that he’s single-handedly ruining the prestige of the MVP award. He cannot win it for the 3rd time in a row. No way 🤦🏿♂️

Jokic has never played against a dominant force like Shaq. There's nothing in the NBA right now that even comes close to comparing.
Shaqs defense is so far above what Jokic is used to playing against. And Jokics defense is an absolute, well…joke.
