  1. What do you think is more likely? 2025. Mavs win a championship or Luka is no longer a Maveric??
    Maybe ask Betonline 🙄😏
If I was a beting man I would say that Luka is no loner a Maveric i 25./26. season.
No faith in Mavs front office to build a championship team.

  2. Are you even mavs faans? If you really where you'd be putting emphasis on kidd as an NBA coach on your podcasts.

  3. I just started nannying my 14 week old nephew. We are watching together while I feed him right now. Think he could be a Senior in high school with Luka still a Mav?

  4. Three issues with the Mavericks can be fixed over the next couple of weeks, and two more will take some time to resolve. 1) Rotations: Starters should play 32 minutes to avoid injury; it is a long season. Luka should play the first 8 minutes and the last 8 minutes of each half (plays 8 minutes, rests 8, plays 8, halftime, plays 8, rests 8, and closes out the last 8 minutes of the game). Since we do not have a second ball handler, Spencer needs to come off the bench and play starter minutes, playing the last 16 minutes of both halves, so he can handle the ball when Luka is resting. We need to have a steady rotation of wings to keep them fresh and give 110% on defense- Spencer, Tim, Josh, Dorian, Reggie, Frank, and Theo. We need to have a steady rotation of floor spacing bigs to keep them fresh and give 110% on defense- Maxi, Christian, Davis, and Dwight. 2) Cutler: The players need to earn their minutes playing defense, doing the dirty work rebounding, blocks, taking charges, deflections, etc., taking high-percentage good shots, and protecting the ball. 3) Focus on mid-range and shots in the paint by default, and only take non-contested three-pointers. Long-term fixes: We need two veterans that can hold players accountable. And we need to manage contracts/draft picks better.

  5. Mavericks continue to play if Luca wants to complain you continue to play continue to play continue to play do your best let him do whatever he wants to do you keep on doing what needs to be done

  6. Shuffling the rotation wouldn’t make a difference. You still end up with players that can’t stop dribble penetration, got not rim protector, and always out of position to grab a rebound… that’s the bottom line! Until you accept the problem and then find a solution, this team will be struggling to even get a play in spot.

  7. that was luka fault on the last play…there is much more good play than receiving the ball. he was exhausted already

  8. We have 0 rim protectors and 0 real perimeter defenders besides Dorian. Kleber is cool at rotations and Reggie knows how to navigate through screens but we need REAL defenders who can matchup not these system defenders.

  9. Here is the thing, the particular issue with refs go back to Luka, he is the leader. If the leader complains and do not get on defense or get T at the worst moments, the rest of the team will follow. You know if Luka does it, why can’t I – type of mentality. Even with Dallas talent wise deficiencies on defense, this was a very winnable game had the right mindset prevailed.

  10. Does Luka need a sports psychologist?

I'm thinking Ted Lasso vibes. Like if he was as emotionally intelligent as Kidd is on the line, would that mentality be the leadership this team needs? They emotionally breakdown when his body language and complaints start up and it snowballs.

If he could grow anywhere it's emotional intelligence

  11. For as good as Powell ended up at the end of the game, man..he really played like trash at times throughout. I mean, he had some really boneheaded plays, especially in the first half. There was a play where Powell got the ball under the goal with a small guard on him, pump-faked nothing (the guard was behind him and beaten), Powell's shot was blocked by the rim, he missed an easy point blank put-back (still no defender), then I believe ran down to the other end and committed a really bad, meaninglessness foul. It was so bad it made me laugh out loud. He was also a turnstile on defense but nothing new there.

But, he did actually score and get some rebounds so props to him for that. At least it's better than the typical "boneheaded plays, but NOT score and get rebounds" Dwight Powell experience we're used to.

  12. I hate THJ passing the ball this guy don't have confidencd to shoot in close game.. He is wide open in last 2 minutes of the game..its time to trade this guy not helping the team..

  13. They cannot make any changes this is who they are unfortunately. Take the medicine and try and get picks for some of these players would be my recommendation

  14. For all you fans who didn’t understand why Dallas let Brunson walk look to the Knicks game last night. With 15 seconds left the Knicks PULL BRUNSON FOR IMMANUEL QUICKLEY FOR DEFENSIVE PURPOSES LOL……they are now finding out what we already knew. You can’t leave him on the floor against ANY DYNAMIC GUARD. That’s quite the statement for a $100,000,000 point guard. He’s a limited little guy who’s now wildly overpaid. Knicks break their four game losing streak last night. Let’s hope Dallas can replace Brunson’s points and get Wood and Kleber back for rim protection. We will turn it around after the all star break.

  15. The mavs needs done creativity in drawing up these plays. Jason Kidd go to the same play being down by 1. He doesn’t get it. It doesn’t work!

  16. When Luka is bad, there I no one to jump in…. It is disgusting! Luka seemed bad with 41? Layout’s that we don’t do….that’s ridiculous!

  17. There are really no excuses for the Mavericks, except to just get another super star next to him because everybody on the team is expendable

  18. Successful defense in the NBA requires that the whole team hustle. With the major players being able to run over any defender to make a layup all you can do is try to dissuade them by putting more than one defender in front of them. That makes defenders have to really hustle to still cover the shooters at the three point line. When the teams star is not going to really hustler on defense is does not motivate the supporting players to go full out every game.
