Funny that no starter had a positive +/-, and the bench cooked

  2. ahend1999

No Hawks basketball until Saturday! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

  3. lukebob44

Dejounte showing up when it counts gotta love that. Insane ending

  4. pakattak

Some clutch JC fts and DJ defensive plays to make up for the absolute meltdown in the last two minutes. Gawd this fuckin team

  5. chillin_krillin

Both team’s offensive capabilities is crazy. Both teams could have still played better and put up 169 points. OKC “3s only, no layups” Thunders. SGA is legit. 100% believe the ceiling of all our players can beat any team in a best of 7. Trae finally stepping it up. Heard y’all talking shit ig. Hit some big points all game and controlled pace. Overall big win. Fought for that shit.

  6. hubbubbery

Trae 33-11 shooting 50% from field and 3.
DJM 22 and the clutchest of blocks
    Bogi 7-11 and 4-7 from 3
    JC double double
Capela double double and 100% FG
    JJ with 8 rebs

That was wild. Defense was basically non existent but we were missing arguably our best defender. A win is a win is a win is a win

I just want to point out that Nate tried his absolute hardest to sell the game at the end by putting Trae on Giddey. Like in what world does that makes sense?

Turnovers almost cooked us but stopping SGA that whole 4th was amazing and honestly we’ve been good at limiting other teams’ main guys recently between Luka, Shai, Jimmy, Brunson, Siakam, FVV, Lavine, etc. We just need to be way more organized because the talent offensively and defensively is there.

  9. GuamSavior

Glad to see Trae getting back into rhythm. It was getting exhausting defending him from all the haters

I don’t want to hear anything about this being a terrible win or bad game for the hawks. We’re the 8th seed with constant front office turmoil, a key starter who may not be here next month, a star who starred shooting incredibly poorly for two months, a bad coach that may not want to be here, and have dug themselves in a massive hole. Right now, Hawks have to work really hard to get the 6th seed and even hope to make the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I’m happy the hawks won 6 out of their 8 road games, I’m happy we are finally winning some shootout games. We just need to win some fucking games and the vibes will hopefully be better.

  11. Didn’t get to watch the game. Who did Lu Dort guard from the hawks?

  12. GatsbyKanye

Was I tweaking or was bogi locking up Shai down the stretch ??

  13. There were so many redemption performances (at least offensively) tonight. Fight those narratives guys đź’Żđź’Żđź’Ż

I WAS TOLD SGA CLEARED TRAE EASY

    (I’m just glad that’s over)

  15. Drstealyothunder

8 rebounds in only 17 mins for Jalen Johnson I really like. I’m still high on him

  16. mrmercenary10

Almost did what the Hawks always do…. I think you know what I mean but we got the win. Winning is all that matters and we got it. May have been an ugly win but a win is a win

  17. Radimov79

I really liked JJ’s game. By the way, is there a rule not to pass to AJ when he has a free and easy shot?

  18. Boraismybae

I know we all have our issues with the Holidays but Aaron is actually a good bench piece. He’s a very tough and pesky defender. Also shooting 40% from deep. It’s just when he tries to do too much on offense that he becomes a negative. If he can just cut that part out of his game and play within his role he’s definitely a piece worth keeping.

Justin however is just a waste of a roster spot

  19. datasxienxe

Not a good win by any means. Trae was horrible at the end. Sometimes truly makes me feel like he ain’t a number 1 option.

  20. Turbulent_Thanks_183

Wolves fan here! Just want to say THANK YOU HAWKS. I swear the Hawks keep winning close games against middling West teams at the exact times Wolves need it.

Another reason to love Atlanta besides Ant <3
