  1. It’s almost foreign, but so refreshing, to see another legit wing player handling the ball. Jesus, all these guard lineups really made us forget.

  2. RUI!!!!!
So fucking hyped for his presence on the floor!!!

  3. Awesomefan09

Hachimura will definitely start eventually. I’d be fine if Ham takes a few games to work him into the lineup some more. Let him get some practices in too.

  4. Galumpadump

He was averaging 18PTS, 5REBS, 55% FG, 40% 3PT for the Wizards when starting 25+ minutes. His fit playing along Lebron and AD is so much better than along Beal and Kuzma.

  5. Huanontherise1

1st bad game he has this sub will turn on him just watch

  6. steebulee

And if he has a horrible game two this whole sub wants to burn him at the stake

  7. Complex_Jellyfish647

Of course he led the team in +/-, him being in means we can’t have 4 dudes under 6’6 out there.

  8. Arthamadya

I don’t understand Darvin ham at all, 3 guard lineup……really man?

  9. josuelaker2

He’s a perfect fit with just about any lineup we run.

Kinda reminds me of really young Lamar Odom.

  10. It’s almost like young players with athleticism are valuable. Who would’ve thought? I was told the team needed the unwanted ghosts of Trevor Ariza, Melo and Boogie Cousins.

  11. brazyace43

The lineup of schroder christie James rui and ad was my favourite. Now just Imagine trading russ for Lavine

  12. Ngur0032

Rui looked good! so happy he’s on our team!

he has the size to guard players like PG and Kawhi

  13. jaychilled

I hope he is given a fair chance to be productive for the team

he wasnt involved in the offense for 90% of the game (understandably so cuz it’s his first game) but then he starts cooking and gets pulled for a 3 guard lineup to end the game

  14. LebronsPinkyToe

when he almost yammed it on that spurs player i jumped out of my seat

  15. Eric___sal

It sucks our next game is at Boston, this sub will be toxic again

  16. Starter or not really doesn’t matter.

The most important is the rotation and the playing time.

  17. BlackJasonTodd

It’s funny because so many ppl are saying we’re treating Rui like he’s a star but literally if he just does exactly what he did tonight then that’s perfect. Seeing a big wing other than Bron was so refreshing.

  18. TheLoneliestMonke

Please. No more 3 guard lineups. We were getting killed by the Spurs when we ran 3 guards

  19. Major-Yellow-812

I’ve seen enough! Trade Lebron and build around Rui!

  20. frostychee

hachimura and christie playing solid defense and streching the floor with size is refreshing to see (and AD ofc)

  21. Clear_Lead

Mid-range, 3, can drive and dunk, and has size on D, if maybe lacking a bit of lateral mobility which he can work in—he’ll yeah start this man!

  22. TheWhisperingDeath

Watching a legit wing player not named LeBron handle the ball and finish brought tears to my eyes.

I had forgotten what playing with a legit wing and not Pat Bev or Lonnie as 3 felt like.

  23. as_abdulkareem

Passes the eye test. Dude’s got a solid motor for his size and plays within himself. Midrange, 3pt shooter, and a rim runner. What more can you ask for 🤗

  24. Was at the game, his presence was visible. Active, physical, smart with the ball, and played with EFFORT.

Sign this man to an extension now.

  25. LosGanjalesBakers

    Kawaii Leonard (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

  26. It’s amazing what height and broad shoulders can do. He can switch onto anyone, catch and shoot, and physically generate his own shot? Sign me UP!

  27. Jpena1987

Bro looks solid on both ends of the floor, I want to see him guard other teams best players and see how he does, he seems a little chill out there, let’s see how he looks when he gets some fire and chemistry going 🔥🔥🔥, as far as open looks go he’ll get plenty when bron and AD are out there. He should be a lock for 16 and 9 a night

  28. StewartAinsworth95

But espn and people here told me he’s not good. Weird

  29. gameguyguru

Yea I like his potential a lot and want to see more games. I said if he made his first free throw he’s gonna be alright. That was low key a lot of pressure on the kid. LA, Lebron, his first bucket as a laker. Easy miss but he sunk both! Haha I know it’s just free throws but under those lights was a good sign to me. Now he’s got 2 of the best leaders in ad and Lebron to mentor him. He loves our mamba lets hope he’s got even 60% his work ethic!

  30. tleikheen

3 level in the 1st game ….he went up to slam ,nailed a 3 and did his midrange shot ……wait til he takes it coast to coast

  31. tleikheen

This is the best part about Rui ….when he feels hot he thinks he’s AD and Lebron in one pkg and wont defer
