  1. Yhea, but that work model is BS. The world is changing, and the workforce is changing with it. The idea that life is all about work for a few hours or wks off is none senses. NO ONE ON THERE DEATH BED REGERT OF NOT WORKING MORE…LOL. Make someone else wealthy should not be your # 1 goal in life. Living your life as much as possible away from the 6am to 6pm should be everyone goal.

  2. You may have 5 players throughout the league that play 82 games. I don’t get why these players have to sit so often, they’re supposedly much better conditioned than players from the old days, but are out at least a game a week. It’s as if they’re doing us a favor when they play.

  3. Sell fans on teams more instead of players. NBA markets players which make this situation possible. I go see team play instead of players. That's the problem I see. Just my opinion

  4. Maybe implement a certain amount of PTO for injures and then after a player uses up those PTO games the player starts getting reduced pay or no pay for missed games. Something has to be done or people are going to stop going to live games or tune out.

  5. I like the baseball analogy. That and give em 0s down the board. Mess with the players avg, and they'll hurry up and play.

  6. You must declare and register to miss a game within so many hours and if you don't you must pay a late registration fee to declare to miss the game. Got to be preactive find all the loopholes and put restrictions to block those loopholes.

  7. Pop started this crap 10 years ago. He wasn’t just resting the old guys either it was kawhi too. He should issue an apology.

  8. The Denver nuggets did the same last night I wanted to see Giannias vs Jokic but nope

  9. Keeping it real. People in the real world work everyday, back to back to back. These divas rest and the quality of the playoffs is still terrible. Best of five series

  10. Jimmy Butler would not be the player I would come all the way across overseas to see play in person… like outta of all players

  11. They just need to extend the season so games are played less frequently. TV ratings would be better because there’d be less games going on nigh to night so you can have more nationally televised opportunities. Have the finals in July.

  12. these boys are soft

can't play 80 games a year anymore for MILLIONS OF DOLLARS … but we keep hearing how they're better than the players were in the 80s-90s …smh

    i dont see it

  13. Crazy that it's to the point where you have to make sure your favorite player is playing before you decide to go to a game smh.

  14. calculate how much each player on any roster contributes to a ticket price. the share. customers pay a full price for the full roster when they purchase a ticket to a game. then, in the aftermath, every customer gets a refund depending on which players missed the game. an automated process. you could maybe add an additional insurance option tied to player x / y / z playing in the purchasing process, for the star players at least. I guess some sellers probably already do that. maybe sounds a little complicated but that's what apps and technology are there for, to make it easy and fluid. just gotta be normalized and adopted

  15. Unfortunately it's never going to change. The league can't really force teams to play players. The only thing they can is reduce the number of games. Or increase the amount of times each team plays each other

  16. So y’all want these older players to play every night .. when they start dropping like flies and all the stars are hurt you guys will lose your jobs lol. It’s not like football. These dudes playing double nighters . If you have never played basketball you wouldn’t understand

  17. I think too this is a byproduct of the 3 pt. evolution. Since there is so much spacing and defenders have to cover so much ground, then that is taking more of a toll on their bodies. I hate the load management and the fact that they shoot too many 3's, but that could be a reason they are worn down more than players of the past.

  18. I like the if you miss one, you have to miss the next 3 concept. As MJ said, I play every single game because there is a kid or a family coming to see me and this may be the only game they can ever see me or the only game they will ever go to period. It's sad because I'm from the DMV and am now in okc and we recently have been one of those places that no one cares about so teams tend to always load manage against us. Many times I look at the schedule and want to buy tickets to see lebron, steph, etc but I don't because I don't think that they will play but they will play the next game in the state over against Luka… Smh

  19. Load management won't stop until the fans stop going to the games. That won't happen so it's a waste of time. The NBA doesn't have to say when a player isn't going to play.

  20. The players are getting paid so much that the owners want to protect their assets. 🤷🏾‍♂️
