The Blazers are trading Damian Lillard, or at least that is what I wish they would do. In this video I go through realistic trade scenarios if the Blazers finally decided to move on from Lillard, including the LA Lakers, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, and more.

there are no realistic trades because he wont be traded anytime soon
It would never happen but Dame in Milwaukee would be so fun
Ideally I could just snap my fingers and just make you go away oh wait I can
I don't know if you'll see this but you actually just brought up a good topic for future content: how hard it is to trade an older star right now still in their prime but almost over with current salary constraints and where current trades are valued. Dame isn't the only star in this sort of situation as far as moving contracts goes
Lillard should not have to request a trade for Portland to trade him. If Portland had a competent front office they would trade him regardless. This team as presently constructed is not going anywhere. I'm not a fan of tanking or rebuilding but when you have exhausted all your options there is nothing left to do but to tank/rebuild. My belief is that they should either trade Simmons for a wing or trade Dame and build around Simmons. Those are your best 2 assets and the only way they are gonna significantly improve this team or in the case of trading Dame, set them up to be in a good place rebuild wise. But unfortunately this is not a competent front office. Their only goal is to make money, and as long as Dame is gonna make them money they are gonna be fine keeping him. They don't care about winning. They are stuck in complacency and that is the greatest enemy to success
Portland doesn’t deserve Dame
I don't know much about the clippers, but I feel like dame, paul george, and kawhi would be unbeatable. also the clippers have a lot of random players the blazers could probably use
Lol Nobody Is Going To Take That Contract
I don’t think he’d leave till his insane contract is either last year or over signing for small contracts elsewhere
why not have Luka go to Portland? That's as ridiculous as your trade ideas. escpecially since Dame said 100 times he doesn't want to leave. Btw what is your favorite team?
Lost me at imagine
No. They're not. Why are u guys always trying to trade everyone. If he wants to stay in Portland that's his choice. He's free to do whatever he wants. This is irritating. Not everyone wins a championship. Also the same thing was said about Giannis. Then he won a chip. Stop with this narrative..
Denver is not an option?
Dame to the raps would be a great mid season trade for the raptors.
Al Horford and Derrick White and three firsts for Lillard and Greg Brown III
Sounds like the Miami trade is the most realistic because they would be contenders and have the assets and they alsp desperately need a PG
Yes I just counted, this is the fifth video in under 2 years Tucker has made a Damian Lillard trade video, and 6th overall regarding a Lillard trade (one being why they won’t rebuild). Love you Tucker but give it up please I promise there’s other things to talk about 😭.
Dame to Dallas makes no sense. Dennis smith jrs development was stunted by Lukas inability to share the ball. Every single “secondary star” he’s ever had has gone on to be way better once off the team (Brunson, kristaps, Spencer dinwiddie) and this is simply because luka is becoming like Lebron. He’s tough to play with because of his ball dominance, and he will forever “carry” not because he has to or lacks surrounding talent, but because that’s his play style and he WANTS to be the focus every single play.
Maybe I just don’t value Dame much, but I wouldn’t trade more than 3 firsts for him ever
