I know it sounds cliche, but this team genuinely is just soft. They take no pride in consistently playing the right way, hustling on defense, doing the extra effort plays, etc. There’s been Bulls teams in the past that had less talent but played with way more of an edge. This team on the other hand looks like it’s going nowhere. AKME has some big decisions to make.

  2. No way they missed 18 straight threes and still shot a higher percentage from three

  3. When you let Mason Plumlee score 21 on you with 100% efficiency, you know there’s something seriously wrong.

  4. papascorpi

We’re not good and I’m done pretending we are

  5. I’ve had some trash takes in the sub but this team is even worst than my takes and that’s just depressing.

  6. polar_chimp

I have never felt such a wide spectrum of feelings about a team within a single season.

  7. ilovelayaway

Vooch trade will go down as the worst trade in bulls history

  8. ctalover3

Shoutout to Stacey and Adam for ripping into this squad at the end there. No direction, no fight, just complacent with this fucking mess of basketball they’re playing.

  9. I-N_Clined

And people thought this stretch of games would get us back above .500 lol. They must’ve forgot who the Bulls were.

  10. rainytreeday

It’s like watching the White Sox season all over again.

  11. RapsFanMike

Vooch lavine and ayo +/- absolutely disgusting against the HORNETS

  12. Cipher32

lolbulls are back. The Hornets played like absolute trash and still got a double digit win. That might have been the worst game I’ve seen this group play.

  13. It’s taken a hell of a lot but I’m officially over this team. Done watching. Blow it up or do whatever at this point, it’s whatever.

  14. Chitowneer

Ayo should not be starting, -24 in 27 mins. Oof!!

    Takeaways from tonight’s game:

    * Deebo didn’t have a great game but he had his hands on 2 steals…took a charge and probably should’ve gotten another one in the first quarter. Everything in between was pretty poor on defense, but he had a alright offensive game and the third/fourth quarter shows just how much we need him handling the ball on the offensive side of the floor. DeRozan didn’t touch the ball for like 6 possessions and I genuinely think we turned it over 4 times. He also had a good game as a facilitator.
    * Zach started out well and slumped super hard in the second/third quarter. We definitely saw a few of those scary LaVine passing TO’s in the third quarter run for Charlotte. Zach is a scorer. Trying to use him as a primary ball handler does not work.
    * I’m not going to lie, I’m mad disappointed in Vucevic tonight. He’s been on a pretty good run of games, but he absolutely got beat by Plumlee tonight. Can’t be shooting 5/15 vs. arguably the worst starting center in the NBA and then let him put up a 21 point double/double on 9/9 shooting.
    * I really liked what I saw from Pat tonight. He looked solid as hell on defense. He had a solid rebounding night. He didn’t have a great 3 point shooting night, but he was scoring from everywhere else well. 5/8 from inside the 3 point line with a solid variety of midrange shots and going to the rim. He absolutely should have another steal with how fucking late the whistle got blown in the 4th quarter.
    * Ayo had a decent night, but ultimately he can’t be trusted as a primary ball handler, hasn’t facilitated well this year, and is a coin flip on whether he’s good on defense. We do not have a point guard and that’s a major problem when Zach can’t be trusted to hold the ball with Demar off the floor.
    * AC made a bunch of extra effort plays, but was too loose with the ball as well so it probably evened out to a good, but not great game.
    * Coby didn’t finish well at the rim, but was set up a few times with a criminally low shot clock. He still wasn’t great, but was better than the stat line implies.
    * I don’t know what is going on with this team, but we’ve looked so flustered the past 2 games whenever Demar is off the floor. When Demar sat in the third/fourth quarter, we gave up 2 really bad runs that lost this game. Someone needs to step the fuck up and actually take care of the ball. I don’t give a shit if it’s Zach, Coby, Vucevic or what, but we have no one who actually handles and passes the ball well when Demar is sitting and it’s killed us two games in a row. I don’t know where the fuck Dragic has been, but we’re sorely missing him in the rotation.
    * It’s also crazy that the lineup that looked best tonight was AC, Coby, Demar, Pat, and DJJ

MVP’s for tonight: Demar DeRozan with an HM to Patrick Williams

  16. timconnery

Forreal we are just bad against bad teams. Pure pain, gotta love Chicago sports

  17. MKultra04

If games only lasted the first half we whould be the 1 seed

  18. ThereWillBeBuds

The most frustrating mediocre team I’ve ever witnessed

  19. Dunlocke

Wish I could suck at my job as much as Billy and keep it

  20. OhiOstas

Hopefully all the fans that try to gatekeep others’ fandom, because they roast this team embarrassing themselves on a constant basis, will finally shut the fuck up. Nobody is saying to stop watching the game or giving the Bulls money, but if you can’t realize and talk about how this team is a fucking disaster then you are willfully ignorant.

Bulls lost the 3pt battle, even with Hornets missing 18 fucking 3s in a row, and they just lost to the Hornets team (at the Hornets arena) who only had 5 home wins coming into this game. What a fucking embarrassment from the top of the organization all the way down.

  21. cascine-

team deserves to be booed out of the building at home against “bad teams”

  22. CubsBearsIlliniBulls

I have no idea how some of you watch every game and don’t want MASSIVE changes. And no, Donovan getting fired doesn’t count. I like most of these guys, but I would prefer a lot of them traded. And I don’t wanna hear about Lonzo being injured. If you can’t overcome the loss of your 4th best player, you aren’t shit to begin with. Demar/Zach/Vooch have only missed a combined 7 games. I can’t imagine there’s many teams who have their best 3 players in the lineup as much as we do. Blow. It. Up. Only people that should be safe are Ayo, Pat, and Dalen. And for the love of fuck, keep Dalen in the G League if he is never gonna play. AKME should be getting so much more shit than they are. Blow. It. Up.

  23. I know they want to make it seem like Zach and DeBo have no beef but Zach is constantly ON and OFF in games depending how much he is given the ball.

I dunno I think Zach is clocked out. He probably will either demand trade or we will just try to trade him anyways. Chemistry was so bad tonight ..

  24. Someone take Ayo’s minutes and give them to the Pizza Hut delivery guy. It can’t be worse and someone has to deliver.

  25. I’m tired of watching this man, I had more fun watching thibs team were we averaged 70 points or some shit a game

  26. drHobbes88

This is a fuckin 13-36 team we just got basically blown out by. Our best chance at getting above .500 and moving out of the play-in spot, and we fucking shit the bed again. This team has no fuckin heart and is an embarrassment as a representative of this city. I wanted to be optimistic man, but they broke me. Fuck this season.

  27. ChiraqJimbo187

The 3rd largest market can’t have 1 good sports team

  28. IMKudaimi123

The juxtaposition between Tom thibodeau who took a team that dealt with all sorts of injury and shooting problems to the playoffs and to home court every year and Billy Donovan who has done less with more his entire career except one season with OKC, is infuriating

Also Billy Donovan’s teams have no identity. Those Thibs teams always had a clear identity.

  29. I feel bad for the Bulls social media team, I know they have to post highlights but everything they post now just gets roasted

  30. Altruistic-Leader-81

BD gonna come out and say shit like “I didn’t like the tenor of the second half”

  31. Mister_Snrub15

I hope Billy Donovan enjoys coaching in the Hungry Jacks NBL next season

  32. radkins77

I think I’m done for the year. I was bought in to us being setup for a hot streak over the next few.. that’s out of the question.

  33. kingjuicepouch

Post game rules because Purdue and Gill have no issue calling this team out for playing like doodoo

  34. kingjuicepouch

PURDUE ADVOCATING FOR TRADES LET’S GO

  35. PaintPusha

And Dalen Terry cant get *no* burn? Fuck is goin on? Did we leave Drummond in Indy?

  36. GeorgeIW2017

This team should have just stayed in France
