Incredible shooting performance by Damian. He made 72% of his shots in this game. I know he wants to be loyal to the Blazers franchise, but he's wasting his prime years in Portland. They've got some great fans, but the management just hasn't given Damian enough help. In my opinion he'd be a much better fit in Dallas right now, and I'm not even a fan of that team.

I love Dame. I'm a huge Dame fan. I'm a Blazers fan for life… but the way Dame complains EVERY SINGLE TIME about not getting a foul is so frustrating. I've seen Dame literally throw games away with foul-baiting, where the last couple of minutes of play he throws something contested and desperate up on a screen, doesn't get the call, hangs his head in frustration, gives up and walks slowly back, while letting the other team transition 5 on 4 to score. Over and over until the other team is up 13 instead of 3. If he could quit focusing his frustration on the refs and put his energy into finding new ways to score, he'd be an S-tier leader. I get that he doesn't get as many foul calls as he'd like and sometimes unfairly, but by now the refs see him as "the guy that complains every time he scores" which seems to result in even less calls. Dame is too good to waste his energy on refs.
