Poor Steph, he went 10 years with like zero angry moments towards his teammates and in the past 3 seasons he’s screamed at all of them to have some pride in a timeout, kicked a chair, and chucked his mouthpiece in frustration…they’re making it rough on him in old age 😭
I just hope that Wiseman gets decent minutes tonight, regardless of whether they’re taken from Loon/Dray/JMG or if Lamb loses his minutes to JMG/Kuminga and small ball center minutes open up. Even if it’s just to test the waters and confirm that Wiseman’s rusty and needs to ramp up in the G-League, it would be nice to see our team with a proper center for a hot sec, especially against such a lengthy Raptors team. Watching Ty abuse Wiseman’s vertical threat in the pick and roll during that one game was such a foreign feeling, and I think I’m hooked on it tbh
Also, it’s wild to see people on this sub speak so authoritatively on what’s “clearly” X or Y front office staff’s opinion on trading Wiseman, especially when it seems to be entirely based on a whole lot of armchair psychoanalysis of media interviews from PR-trained public figures lmaoo some of ya’ll gotta relax and take a step back

I also want to point out how in and out our players have been this year — obviously not an excuse, but it’s a little strange that some fans are screaming to trade the young talent for half-year rentals when you consider (throughout the season too, I’m not sure we even had a proper stretch with everybody healthy):

I can’t believe Bradley Beal’s contract. 57 million on a 33 year old Beal with a no-trade clause is nuts. Right now he’s putting 22/3/5 on a 43 million contract. Like imagine 2 years from now a brain-dead GM goes “I wanna burn my team into the ground” and decides to trade for Beal, finally giving the Wizards a chance to get rid of this albatross looming over them. And even then, Beal could be like “Nah fam, I’m good. I’m gonna stay” and there’ll be nothing the Wizards could do. I feel bad for all 12 Wizards fans.
Whether we are gonna trade some of the young guys or not i just hope they will have a good career and improve just like some of the lakers young talents did.

Unless Kerr plans on permanently running 4-guard lineups trading for Caruso is sub-optimal.
For those of you who remember him better than I do, is current Poole on the same level as Monta Ellis? Looking up on BBref, their efficiency is about the same although Monta chucked up a few more shots a game. I remember I enjoyed watching Monta play but never once thinking, “Oh yeah, this guy is taking us to the promised land one day”.

Orlando now had a logjam of tall talented dude with Jonathan Isaac back and looking like a all defensive team player again.
The unsexy goof troop of Mo Wagner… Mo Bamba and Bol Bol are probably available. Not suggesting or advocating it necessarily but it’s definitely accurate. They got Four very talented bigs and three not talented bigs. You can probably get any of them for salary match.
Honestly I’d call on Wiseman and Moody and light protected FRP (top 5) for Jonathan Isaac. If he keeps playing like he has he’sexactly the elite defender and longterm positionless big we’ve been looking for… Isaac and Wendall Carter have DISGUSTINGLY value contracts. Poole will make more than the two combine a few years now lol. It’ll probably get a hard no from Orlando.
Isaac may be was perhaps the best five position defender in the league right before he went down an few years back. I think he can be gotten someway somehow as the forth big in the WCJ Paolo Franz group.
I personally don’t wanna trade anyone lol… I’m a realist the team is pretty good when it wants to put it together and I’d rather see the kiddos through. I’m not thirsty for front office action lol.
Wonder why wiseman didn’t get sent down to the G league while Moody did. If Kerr isn’t gonna play him, might as well sent him down there. Unless, he wants to try him for spot minutes but knowing Kerr probably not
